Tanner had always loved to party. It was his favorite pastime or than strumming on the old guitar. If holding your alcohol was an Olympic sport than Tanner who would have all gold medals. the boy started drinking at a young age, fifteen to be percise. He had mastered the art of driving while slightly intoxicated and the art of the fake I.D. Tanner was not the lonely drinker, he was definitely more of the social drinker.
He had caught word of a pumping club in town, being new he decided that now would be a perfect time to go there. If he were lucky, maybe he would find that lucky lady who would go home with him that night. Tanner was a slight womanizing horndog with drinking problem. He honestly didn't care though. He was not the person he was for anyone else other than himself. Hey, a man has to stay true to himself or at least, that was what he told himself.
He walked up to the club and looked at the flashing neon sign and he grinned to himself. If he were going to try and meet someone it would be here, or so he figured. Tanner walked up the few steps and slipped into the clubs double glass doors. This was a party all right. His kind of party. Loud music, open bar, and girls. Lots and lots of girls.
A grin spread over his handsome features as the predator found something new to prey one. A small petite brunette by the bar. He popped his neck and began to head in that very direction. He stopped once he had reach the bar, leaning over it. "Corona." he stated simply, flashing the fake I.D. He turned around to face the crowd before propping his elbows up on the table and turning gingerly towards the girl. "Hey." he said in a charmingly sick voice. The girl looked Tanner up and down and then walked away from him. "nice." he replied sarcastically.
Tanner never wore anything big or flashy. Or anything that was considered in. no, he always tried to keep outfits simple. Tonight, on a night such as this, he let his hair breath fr once, ditching th cap he usually wore. His favorite pair of pants, with natural rips. A grey QUEEN shirt that he loved and a simple pair of black converse shoes. Attractive, no?

Lane had been sitting at the bar for some time now. She had come by herself since Lei was practicing again, something she herself should be doing, but whats the fun in that? She saw the girl walk up and leave the space between her and Tanner open. "Tough pickings tonight, huh?" she asked as she sipped on her Sam Adams. He wasn't the only one with a fake I.D.
She looked back at the bar tender as she stuffed the fake plastic card back into her back pocket. Lane was quiet for a moment before she turned to look at him and opened her mouth to say something but stopped, then laughed a little. "You don't want a brunette anyway... They are major buzz kills." she said speaking the truth. "Especially if its natural, and that was." she said looking at the other girl. "Probably has some form of gonorrhea."
Lane had soon finished beer number one. She was not a person who drank a lot, she just enjoyed a good buzz here and there. If her step father found out that she got into clubs with a fake I.D. he would tell her mother and she would be yanked from the school. She sighed as she took out her pack of cigarettes and took one out of the pack, placing it between her pale lips before lighting it.
She took a few drags as she gazed around.I don't see what all the hype is about, I find this place somewhat dull." thought to herself as she thought about the mindless girl dancing and drinking for fun. What was fun about making a fool out of yourself while being intoxicated? Did she miss the memo? Obviously, cause she didn't find it fun. Not at all, well maybe she would if Lei, or someone she knew was there.

Hearing a familiar voice Tanner laughed lightly as he turned his attention to Lane. “Probably infested with God knows what.” He replied as he took a sip of his beer. Readjusting the black fedora on his head to his normal liking, he sighed heavily.
Lane was right, this party was a complete dud. From what he heard, The End was supposed to be a kicking club, but it was as exciting as a Sunday morning hangover. It was loud, crowded, and the people, mainly the girls, were stuck up wiht rotten attitudes. Tanner felt like he wanted to punch somebody in the throat, especially the person who had told him about the club.
"Well hopefully Lei will be here and things will liven up." he said loudly over the music to the beautiful blonde next to him.
Lei and Tanner have been good friends, almost best, since he was a sophomore and she was a freshman at Hoffman. Thier meeting was an interesting one. He had been wondering around the park on night after dark and after hours. Lei had been tripping on something hardcore and Tanner was looking for a place to smoke. They had to to talking, and smoking, with each other and on a regular basis. Immediately becoming best friends. If the one of them needed someone to talk to, the other was always there in a heartbeat. Basically they were all around best buds.
"My buddy is suppose to come by sometime soon tonight. It depends if he gets setttled in the dorm tonihgt or at all. You've never met him have you?" he asked trying to keep the coversation moving along. He tilted his head to the side as he set his brown eyes on Lane.
She was beauiful, no doubt about that, and Lane was so easy to talk to that it was almost scarey that he opened up to a female like that. Tanner would tap that no questions asked, but there was something else about her and it intrigued him. And he would find out what it was.

"Yeah, its not called a party until we are there." she said talking about her and Lei. "Its just a small get together, if were not." she said laughing. She knew that she would let lose a little more if her friend was there to help her make a fool of herself. Her brown eyes scanned the place. "I wonder what its like to live for this kind of life." she said randomly to herself as she looked back at Tanner.
"I may know him." she said as she thought. It really didn't travel far since he never said a name. "I am looking to get Lei hooked up. The poor dear is so lonely." she said as she crossed on leg over the other. "You have any candidates?" she asked as she sipped down some more of her beer. "I just want to find her someone to make her happy." Lane said nodding. She really cared about Lei, she was like a sister to her and if anyone hurts her, they will have to answer to Lane, the crazy bitch in the bed next door.
"So whats your friends name?" she asked as she set the empty bottle down on the bar. "Another one miss?" the bar tender asked. Lane just shrugged. "Sure, I have no one to impress." she said as another bottle was set down in front of her. "Beer is so nasty." she said laughing as she drank some of the fresh bottle. She lightly sighed as she looked at Tanner, it wasn't an eventful time, but it was nice to have someone willing to talk to her, and not just blow her off after a few minutes of awkward conversation.
She looked down at the face of her phone. "She should be finishing up soon."

Dean exited the practice building triumphant, he had finally finished a song. Since being kicked out of the band he was in, he had not been able to lay down a bass line that was worth any of the trouble he went threw writing. He finally felt some what accomplished and he smiled widely. "I think this calls for a drink." he said pulling out his phone and dialing up Tanners number. "Yo, Bro? Where are you?" he asked as he walked down the path to the dorm.
His brown eyes scanned the door to Hoffman Hall before he yanked it open with great force. He jogged up the stairs after hang up wit Tanner and changed. About 20 minutes later he was back out the same door he had entered, and was hoofing his way down to The End. "I herd this place was lame." he mumbled as he flashed his fake I.D. at the door.
It wasn't hard to spot his friend out, Tanner seemed to be the one of only a few males that were actually in the place. "Hey, Man." he said as he reached the bar. His eyes glanced at the girl then he hat on the other side of Tanner staying quiet so not to disturb him in his art of charm. Dean let out a low sigh as he ordered a Bud Light and drank it down with no problem. No doubt about it, he was going to get smashed that night, or his name wasn’t Dean Shawn.
After a few moments he turned and poked his friends shoulder. “Hows it going?!” he asked over the lough music. He really didn’t expected an answer but he was ok with that. After a minute he soon turned to the bar tender. “I’ll have another please.” he said as he pushed the empty bottle twords the, probably gay, bartender.

Lei was so late. She had to finish a paper for one of her core classes and she had to take a shower. Once she had hopped out, she realized that she was almost an hour late. "Oh Lane is going to kill me." She said as she hurriedly got ready for her night out with Lei and Tanner.
She had just finished applying her make up and putting the curlers in her hair. Lei wondered into the room and rummaged through her small closet space before picking out the perfect out fit. After many long minutes of deciding she just threw something on and together. Lei slipped on a black miniskirt that rised oh so nicely to about mid thigh and a red halter top with thos fishnet glove things. She finsihed taking the curlers out of her hair and began to look for her shoes. Lei Ian was so scatter brained.
"Found you bitch!" Lei slipped on a pair of black heels and began to start towards the door and down the street to the club.
Lei finally arrived at the club about half an hour later. She smiled as she pushed past a herd of girls who called her a whore, but she paid no mind to them. "Come on Lei. Where are you?" she asked to herself as she walked around aimlessly around the club like a lost child looking for his mother after wandering off in the local grocery store.
Her eyes soon found themselves on Tanner and she smiled. "Hey guys." she said sauntering up to greet her two best friends in the world. "So your friend, did he make it here tonight or is he still getting settled in?" she said as she flashed her fake I.D. and got a martini, which she sipped on gingerly.

Tanner smiled when he turned around to his best friend of four years, Dean, standing before him. He nodded and gave the veritcally challenged man a smalkl one armed hug as turned to talk to him.
"What's up man?" he asked as he took another sip of the Corona.
Tanner hated the taste of beer, the only reason why he was drinking a Corona was becasue it got him drunk a whole lot faster. He was more of a hard liquor person, but this was the most he could afford before he got the seven hundred dollar allowance that his daddy sent him from the states. He was not by any means a cheap drunk, if so then he would have a lot more moolah then what he did at the moment.
Just right about then he heard the smooth voice of Lei, his female best friend. He smiled and nooded to her as he turned aroung so that hjis back was facing the bar. He slipped an arm around Lane. "Hey kiddo." he said nodding to Lei, who smiled at him and gave him the who's your incredibley hot friend look.
"Oh!" he said as he looked to Dean. "Lei this is my roommate Dean. Dean this is Lei."

Dean smiled and outstretched his hand for her to shake. "Ello." he said in his native accent. "Pleasure." he said nodding as he set down his drink. He would have normally just sat and murmured to himself and nod to acknowledge she was there and then get smashed.
Dean was not much of a ladies man but he was slightly intoxicated and she was really pretty. "Why didn't you tell me you had such hot friends? I would have come back earlier." he said winking at her before picking up his drink a again and took a well needed swig from it.
Words of encouragement flood his mind as he tried not to be a complete hose head. "So..." he said feeling a sign of awkwardness coming. "Whats your major?" he asked as he set down the empty bottle and signaled the bar tender for another one.
He looked at the girls. "So you guys come here often?" he asked after stuffing his hands in his pockets. start conversation was harder then it looked. The pounding music was giving him a headache. He sucked down the last of his second beer. "Dumb gits." he said talking about the girls and threw guys, that where located inside. "This party is dead." he said sighing. "We should find a better one. "This is a total buzz kill." he said as he jumped off the stool. He had already had his fill of "Londons hot spot" and he looked at the beer. "I culd use something a bit stronger. Whose up for brown bagging in the park?" he asked with a smile.

Lane looked at Dean. "Yeah I agree... this beer is doing nothing for me." she said as she looked at her friend before giving her a hug. "How did practice go?" she asked, she already knew the answer but it is good to care. She lightly pushed the few strands of blond that were hanging in her face out of her eyes.
She looked Dean up and down, yup, he was perfect for Lei. Now all she had to do was get the connection together, but she had somewhat of a feeling of how it was going, they would do it themselves. She looked to Tanner then the bar tender. "You got any Jack in this place?" she asked as she pushed the beer bottle twards him.
The tender nodded. "Want coke with that?" he asked as she raised a brow. "Make it straight, no ice, and it better be a big glass." she said having the sudden urge to get smashed out of her little mind. Lane didn't drink often, but when she did it was something amazing. He looked at her. "Well, Miss." he said putting the decent size glass of jack on the bar. she sighed. "I should just pay for the whole damn bottle she muttered as she drank some it down. "Now that is more like it." she said to herself now starting to feel a little buzz.
At least she could be wasted and not remember that no fun was being had here. She sighed as she lightly push Lei closer to Dean.

Lei blushed and looked the other way, trying to act as flattered as she could. "Well, I guess you should have came back sooner." she replied winking back at Dean in return. "I'm a ballet major, with a minor in jazz dancing." Lei was really good with guys and she knew how to get what she wanted. It took her almost four months took get Alex as whipped as he was before she left.
Her eyes darted around the room. "Brits, can't party." Lei said as she sipped on her martini and setting it one the bar behind Dean. "So where have you been and why haven't I met you?" she grinned at him, flipping the long caramel curls over her shoulder as she leaned against the bar. She allowed her hand to brush against his, slowly dropping hints that she was intrigued by this young man.
Lane and Dean were right. This party was a complete dud. The music was good, yeah, and sure the drinks were reasonable and they believed any fake I.D. that they were given, but it was pretty much lifeless. No danicng, just a bunch of the students and a few other people crowded in thier cliques in thier corners. It was more like a peanut gallery than London's finest club. Lei laughed and shook her head.
Upon hearing Dean's question and being lightly pushed by Tanner and Lane, she nodded her head in agreement, curls bouncing. "I second that idea. This place stinks on ice and I don't think that I've ever been so bored in my entire life." she said with attitude as she tipped the bar tender behind her. "Let's go somewhere where I can actually talk." she said as she took a few steps forward and gazing over her shoulder at Dean, Tanner, and Lane.
