A bright and sunnday it was on this particular beautiful autumn morning. There was a not a cloud in the big blue sky and the air was cool and crisp. The leaves would gently float down from their branches to cover the green faded grass of the grounds. All to the ironic dismay of the hung over teenage boy who occupied Hoffman's Hall dorm room number seven. To Tanner Sexton this was going to be nothing but a lazy day where all he would do was sleep in, he felt asbolutely dreaful.
Tanner had spent the night before taking part in his usual favorite weekend pastimes spent drinking and smoking. He had always been the party boy, even back home he could compete with his older brother Kyle. Parties were definitley his thing and especially if they were the right kind of parties. Girls, booze, and drugs. And the music, that was his life.
The body that laid in the only single bed in the room grunted sleepily as the sheets were pulled over messy black hair. He rolled over onto his back and his eyes shot open when the ringing sound of his alarm clock blared through the entire room. It seemed to echo through the almost empty room. Maybe it was just in his head. He groggily punched the snooze button and rubbed his face. A single ray of light hit his face and he silently cursed the day's weather and he rolled over onto his side. Right when he was about to shut his and fall back into his slumber, the unforgiving alarm clock sounded off again. A low growl escpaed his throat. In what seemed to be one swift motion, he grabbed the alarm clock ripping it out of the wall and throwing it across the room. He smiled in satisfaction hearing the sound of bits and pieces falling on the tiled floor of the dorm room.

A blond girl made her way threw the boy dorms, she really didn't know if it was against the rules for her to be there... just that she needed to talk to a boy. She held a piece of wrinkled paper in her hands as she began to pass different doors. "1....2....3...4...5...6...." she mumbled under her breath as she read the numbers. "7." she said with a nervous sigh. She reached a small pale hand up and lightly knocked on the door. Lane was not the kind of person to venture into an area that she was not allowed and from the stares she got, she came to a conclusion that she wasn't, but she was on a mission. One of Lanes friends told her that this guy, Tanner, could help her out with some of the issues she had in her guitar playing. She swallowed hard as she waited for an answer. "Hopefully hes not a jerk." she thought to herself as she tapped her tattered green converse covered foot on the floor. She really hated to bother someone on Sunday, he probably wasn't even there. "Maybe out with friends, or family?" she began to think as she knocked one last time. "I give him another few minutes and I'm out of here." Lane soon began to think that this was one of her friends cruel jokes to info about the guys dorms, or to be completely mean and laugh when she came out defeated. "Oh thats mature." she thought a she crossed her arms and leaned on the door, but soon jumped when she herd the breaking of something on the floor. She looked wide eyed at the door as she jumped off of it and lightly knocked once more. "Hello?' she asked quietly.

Tanner groaned as the sounds of this girl's knocking echoed through his mind like a banging drum. He rolled over onto his stomach and pulled his pillow over his head. Not now. He thought to himself as the echoing in his mind finally died down. A sigh of satisfaction and relief passed his thin lips as he slowly began to shut his eyes.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
"GODDAMN IT!" he roared as he slung the bed sheets off his his body and onto the cold, blue tiling of his dorm room. He stomped his way angrily acros the room, not bothering to cover himself up. No, he was not in the nude, but only in a pair of boxers. Luckily enough he had the body to pull that certain look off. He sighed , rubbing his eyes before he opened the door.
Tanner was in mood for tim foolery today, he just wanted to go to sleep, but everything in the world seemed to be keeping him up. I guess this is what happened when a teenage boy with a drug addiction and drinking problem gets for staying into the early hours of the morning partying it up with many anonymous people. In addition to have free reign sex with many anonymous partners with little or no protection at all.
He let out a frustrated sigh out as he twisted the silver door knob and pulled it open. He was taken a back when he saw the beauitful young blodne standing before him. He raised his brows as he looked at her up and down, then back up again. He leaned against the door frame, crossing one let over the other. A charming smile, one of the traits that Tanner "sexface" Sexton was known for, crossed his handsome face as he stared into her hazel colored eyes with his brown ones. "Can I help you?" he asked trying to force the hangover a side as he spoke to her.

(This post is all rambaling...MEH! *bangs head on floor*
Lane was speechless for about half a minute. "Umm.... I hope so." she said totally feeling like this was a bad idea. She tried to keep her eyes from floating down to his boxers. She felt somewhat embarrassed by the fact that she woke him up, and really almost forgot what she came there for. "A friend told me that you could help me out with some of the guitar trouble I'm having." Lane said now falling from the embarrassment and back to normal. "But i can see this is a bad time." she said looking at his face. "Aren't hangovers a bitch." she sad noticing the redness in his face and his brow blood shot eyes.
Lane felt that awkward silence coming and she really had no way of stopping. "If you can, I will come back another time. If yo can't sorry for bothering you." she said as she leaned against the other side of the door frame. "You got tile? I got ugly carpet." she said lightly chuckling as she looked down at the floor and her shoes. She then looked back up at him. "At least he's hot." she thought as she remembered her friend saying something about him being a man whore and to only worry about guitar with him..." but she pushed that out of her mind.
She then let out a sigh and stood up straight. "I will come back when you are more awake, dressed, and maybe half way sober." she said with a small sarcastic laugh. This was defiantly a mistake, now if she gets on trouble, she will still be up the river without a paddle with the stupid F chord. "nice boxers by the way." she said as she started to walk away from the door.

"No, you're fine." he said as Lane apologized for waking him up and undenyable making the hangover of his worse. If it were anyone else you better bet that Tanner would have thrown down on someone.
Tanner's grin faded for obvious reasons that are not worth mentioning. He scratched the back of his neck and he yawned widely. He debated for a moment over whether helping this girl with guitar would be worth losing sleep over. Ah hell, Tanner was a nice guy and she was a pretty girl. How could he say no?
"Guitar?" he acted like he was pondering an answer by rubbing his chin inquisitively. Even though his mind was already made up. "Yeah, I can help you." he said blinking a few times. "Could you just give me a minute?" he asked holding up a finger.
Tanner slid back into his dorm room, shutting the door behind him as he did so. He stretched his arms over his head. He then proceeded to get ready. He wondered over to his dressers and tried to find something to where before he went out and taught things on the guitar. "Acoustic, electric, rhythm, what?" he called loudly through the door as he almsot fell to the ground trying to put a pair of fresh blue jeans on his long legs.
Once he stood up, he pulled a black Pantera shirt over his head and grabbed his hat. Looking into the mirror, he grabbed his silver hoop and hooked it through his nose, not bothering to fasten it. He looked down onto his desk top, he really didn't have time to brush his teeth so, he did the next best thing. Tanner grabbed a piece of gum out of an old pack and quickly pushed it into his mouth as he opened the door again, grinning at Lane.

Lane sighed as she looked at him. "Yeah was the quickest, I have seen anyone get dressed." she said with a small laugh. "Electric mostly, though theres not really a difference between it and acoustic." she said as she leaned on the wall. "Maybe you should make an art of changing." she looked down at her shoes, the left one was untied. So she did the obvious thing and tied it. She looked at him. "So don't you even want to know what I need help with before you go and agree to help?" Lane asked as she looked him up and down, he was really good looking. "I can't believe you like them." she said talking about his shirt. Lane laughed slightly. "Whatever floats your boat." she mumbled as she began down the hall. "So where shall we do this?" she asked as she looked back at him. "I think if I stay here much longer a detector will go off and I will be fried." Lame wasn't normally this open around people she had just met, or disturbed while sleeping, but he seemed like she could immediately open up to him. She still pondered the reason why her friend didn't inform him of he level of hotness, so she wouldn't look so much a mess when she finally asked him. "So... You stay out late often? Or is it just a once in a while thing?" she really didn't know his full rep, just the fact he was a man hoe. Lane never really partied or stayed out late, or much of anything. She was somewhat anti social. "Or do you just get disturbed that much while sleeping?" she asked laughing. She was really make no sense and she was in her right mind to shoe her green converse into her mouth before coming off as more of a dork than she really was.
