It was a beautiful day when Holly woke up at 11:40am. She was shocked when she looked at her alarm clock thats he slept in so late.
*why didn't my alarm go off* she thought
She knew that it was too late to go to school now, the school day was already nearly half over and she really couldn't be bothered to go to school anyway.
She decided to get up, she wandered over to her closet filled with all of her unsual but unique clothing. Her closet ranged from baggy jeans, to skinny jeans to skirts and skinny tshirts to baggy hoodies. She decided on a red jeans skirt, yellow tights, a pink skinny tshirt with the paramore logo on it with her favourite bright blue beads. She brushed her long blonde hair and placed a red bow at the side and it took her about 20 minutes to pt her makeup on that included bright pink eyeshadow with a lot of black eyeliner and her bright red lipstick.
Satisfied with her appearance she walked out of her dorm and out into the bright sunlight. She began to get bored walking about the school and she wanted to go up to the library but she hated the school library, it never had any books that she wanted and there was always too many geeks in there and it was really small and the librarian was always rude to her because she dissapproved of her style.
After deciding not to go to the school library she walked out of the school and into the town. She liked the town, the streets were bright and not very crowded and she was free to be who she wanted to be. She walked for about 5 minutes until she reached the local public library. She liked this library, it was huge and it had the little ladders that you could use to swing from one side of the shelves to the other. She was in this library so much that she would always walk in and say hello to the librarians that worked there. She walked in slowly, hands in the pockets of her skirt. She said her hello's and walked upto the furthest away wall labelled 'Teenage Fiction'. Holly loved vampire and fantasy stories and she had frecently found out about a book she had never heard of but she thought it sounded good. She searched through the book, scanning them with the tips of her fingers. She finally found the book she was looking for, a vampire love story, she loved that kind of book, she had read many like them before. She walked over to the quiet area of the library, to the east wing. She was glad that nobody else was there, she could read her book in peace. She walked over to the comfy chair in the corner, she sat down with one leg bent on the chair and one relaxing. She smiled and opened her book. She began to read it enthusiastically and was completly oblivious to somebody coming near to her. Maybe the person was somebody that Holly could make friends with.
