Sweeping his fringe to a side, Zander frowned absent-mindedly as he made his way from his dorm to Ellinora's. He never really bothered with trimming his fringe. Zander likes it long. Ah, the habitual visit to the girlfriend's. Zander Dredly would never have thought of falling in love with Ellinora Gray. Sure, they grew up together and were best friends as children. But the both of them grew up to be quite different.

Despite an over-protective tendency towards the girl, the fact that the parents had arranged the union of the two made Zander more inclined to rebel and dislike the relationship. Upon becoming an official couple, the boy had grown from a loving best friend, to a detached boyfriend who stirs numerous rumours of his flirtatious ways.

But Zander didn't care. He would serve his basic duties as a boyfriend, which he did, considering that the only girl he has ever slept with is still Ellinora. But the two haven't done it since then, which makes it extremely tempting for Zander to break his clean streak if they won't do it again anytime soon. You see, it never was the girl that he dislikes. Its the fact that all he is forced to see in her, and of her, now are that of responsibilities and obligations, considering that the relationship was arranged. And the things that Zander Dredly dreads (pun, hehe) the most in life? Responsibilities of any kind.

Zander Dredly and Ellinora Gray have never broken up, nor talked about the subject. But the fights over Zander's flirtatious reputation had and would continue to plague the relationship. At times like these, Zander's temper would bring out the worse of him, and perhaps Ellinora would get hurt in the process. But there are times when Zander tries his best to overcome his reluctance, and attempts to be a sweetheart. Predictability though, is questionable. Perhaps the only person who understands and tolerates this trend is just the girlfriend, considering that it has been almost a year into the relationship, and Zander Dredly and Ellinora Gray are still officially a couple. And a good-looking one at that.

Dressed in a casual lime-green preppy polo tee and white slim bermudas, Zander ruffled his hair because he likes it messy. Without a moment of hesitation, he knocked the door to the girlfriend's room and tucked both hands into his pockets as he waits.
