Gates Preparatory Academy is home to many wonderful young ladies and men who aspire to be anything from the next supermodel craze to the first man ever to reach Jupiter. Students from all over the globe come to this prestigious academy. You can't blame them really. Former graduates include Jacqueline Kennedy and Bill Gates. If you want to make it big this is where you start out.
Russell University is the next step in the education of these students. Located just across the river the boys and girls of these two elite schools are the cream of the crop. With the mixing of these two super spawn schools you must expect both the best and the worst. They've got some of the best talent in the country yet some of the darkest secrets. They have a saying that goes like this. "Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead." It's what they live by.
The elite boys and girls from each school are all both very intelligent, beautiful and also daring. They try things you've never dreamed of and they're not afraid to show off. Though life for these kids isn't all that easy, after all, they are the hottest thing out there. With that title comes responsibility but also privilege and respect. These kids know where they're heading but what lies ahead is a mystery. Surely no one expected the accident that would occur this past fall.

Teen Killed When Out Of Control Car Plummets into the Ocean
Sunday morning around three forty-five A.M. on highway 23, just outside of Los Angeles, there was a three car pile up. Traffic was being instructed to go around and this one car couldn't stop. It was out of control. The driver, a male around seventeen years of age and a female passenger plummeted over the edge of the cliff. Onlookers were shocked and have commented that it looked as it the kids hadn't known that there was something wrong until it was too late. Rescue teams were called immediately. The male was saved but his female companion had been trapped and it was too late for her to be saved.
Later on that very same day the car was pulled from the water. Where the car had fallen the water was estimated to be around 200 feet deep. The body of the girl who was identified as Alanna Bennet, a student at Gates Preparatory Academy located three miles outside of South Hampton, New York. A thorough look over of the car showed that the brakes had been cut, ruling what happened an accident. The male who was identified as Travis Chabernaud, son of the rocker Mcvanner, will not be charged with the death of his girlfriend Alanna Bennet.
The funeral for Miss Bennet is to be held Wednesday December 14th, 2007 at 11 A.M. The Bennet family is encouraging anyone who was close to their daughter to attend the service. They are thanking all friends and family for their support in this difficult time.

It's been almost a year since the accident and even though things are moving along at a regular pace for most people there are a few that are being left in the dust. With new information being found about what happened that night and who might be a suspect things are certainly getting stirred up again. Some students close to Alanna ran from their past, those were the smart ones. The others simply went along like nothing happened. Now that the past is coming back to haunt them perhaps they'll end up running from it, learning from the others before. Maybe those who ran before will realize that even though it seemed to work that wasn't really the case. Maybe they'll just keep running.
