Vampires Vs. Werewolves (Linking back)

Plot-
Ten thousand years ago. Longer than anyone alive can remember. It was a happy time, the vampires and werewolves live together in peace and harmony. Helping each other with the annoying humans. They had learned of their existence and sought to destroy them.
One night, the vampire lord and alpha werewolf were having a conference. They were all by themselves. Shut up in the vampire lord's chambers. They were discussing what to do about the humans, who were becoming a bigger problem.
Suddenly they heard an ear piercing scream coming from one of the castle's bedrooms. They both recognized it instantly as the alpha's daughter. They shot up out of their seats and rushed to the room.
But what they found was very unexpected indeed. Both of their daughters lay on the ground, lifeless. They both rushed to their daughter's sides. When the alpha checked over his daughter, she had puncture wounds in her neck. When the vampire lord checked over his daughter, her throat was ripped out.
They both rose simultaneously and glared at each other. They both blamed one another for what happened to their daughters. The alpha was 'escorted' out of the castle by the vampire lord's guard.
Less than a week later, both species were at war. After fifty years of fighting, the survivors of each race were too tired and weary to fight on, and both sides went their separate ways. Both of their leaders were dead, and it was time for them to pick up their numbers.
But even after ten thousand years another war has not broken out. But things are getting edgy between the vampires and the werewolves once again. And nobody knows how long peace will last.
