lend me your ear
and I'll tell you about the things I fear
open your heart
and I'll tell you why I'm torn apart
sister hazel - killing me too
Dalia wasn't exactly sure how she had ended up at the park. She had decided to go for a walk, get to know her surroundings, maybe meet up if she stumbled across someone she knew. She wasn't big for going out alone, so she had brought her permanently faithful white German Shepherd, Jasper, along. Somewhere down the line he had caught wind of a cat or squirrel or something so mysteriously attractive, and bolted after it. So that was how she had ended up standing in front of a sign that read "HYDE PARK". Attempting to catch up to her dog that had decided pint sized mammals were more amusing and more important then his person.
She glares at the trail she was going to have to follow, continuing to walk until he got bored and came back or a stranger grabbed his collar and dragged him away, trying to find his lonely owner. Dalia had a leash hanging from one of her hands, so it would be only mildly (note seething sarcasm) obvious that there was a good chance he belonged to her.
Sighing she takes a step forward, gravel mixed in with dirt crunching beneath her shoes. It was cold out, and she hadn't dressed particularly warm, not knowing it would be so chilly or that she would be out here for so long. "Jasper!" Dalia calls, her light and sweet voice probably not being carried far enough for her canine to hear. However, as she strained her light sky blue eyes, she thought she caught a glimpse of him several yards away sniffing at what appeared to be a bush.
