Welcome to Revival High, one of the most popular schools in California. Home to people from all walks of life with one thing in common. They have no where else to go. Sent by parents who spoiled them or wanted better for them. Perhaps rich, maybe dirt poor and coming on a scholarship. You'll be welcomed by sandy beaches, warm breezes, new friends, enemies, oh and lets not forget the actual school work.
Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands
And breathe... just breathe
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands
And breathe... just breathe
But much like any other school, the udnerground of Revival is run strictly on cliques. Where being a nobody is the last thing you want. The Extreme Populars are the ones with the firm hold on the school. Their word is practically law. Of course you have the fight for power against them, from the polar opposite Scene Royalty. Those precious few students with enough guts to put up a silent revolution in the eyes of what's normal. After that, you have your regular cliques. Nerds, Posers, Loners, Preps everyone. All just begging for a spot to fit in with the group of people who want nothing more than for you to remain lost.
In May he turn 21 on the base at Fort Bliss
"Just a day", he sat down to the flask in his fist,
"Ain't been sober, since maybe October of last year."
Here in town you can tell he's been down for a while,
But, my God, it's so beautiful when the boy smiles,
Wanna hold him. Maybe I'll just sing about it.

There is some hope for you yet though. Maybe you'll find someone as lonely as you, or maybe a friend from years before you'd never thoguht you'd see again. And the wheels start moving. You become part of the gossip, the rumors running through everyones minds. It doesn't matter if it's true, it'll get around either way. So be careful about what you say, and even mroe so about who you tell it to. Cause loose lips tend to be a bit contagious in places like here. Even if the teachers over look it, there's no denying when your reputation is big enough to have it's own talk show.
There's a light at each end of this tunnel,
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around.
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around.
No matter where you end u though, this truely is all about the journey. What you make of these four years has the potential to be the best or worst of your life. Even if your hated, have a good time doing it. Who knows, maybe there are a few forgiving people hiding out here. Or perhaps you'll find someone with the same kind of problem. Either way, your here now. This is the beginning of the rest of your life. Now, the next step is up to you.
2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to
