There is many a child today, the year 3012, that gets told that magic doesn't exist. It's in a fairytale land of witches cackling away on brooms silouhetted by moonlight, with wizards with odd hats chanting away by the light of a cauldron. With wands that cast spells to shut even the most boring teacher up, and spells that make you look like a princess. They're told to shut it, save it for halloween, kids.
For some children, every day is Halloween. They are the children that are brought up in magical society, where blowing up your aunt is just afternoon entertainment. These children are mainly pure-blood, or half-blood witches and wizards.
After the purge that Lord Voldemort left on the British wizarding community just over one thousand years ago, when the great Harry Potter released a magical community of his power in 1997, and during this second, deadly magical war many people in Britain fled to Italy, among other places. Just over a thousand years on, peace is at hand in many parts of the wizarding world, although many British magical immigrants who fled to Italy did not return for the fear that Lord Voldemort would once again return. They stayed in Italy, prefering for their children to be educated in a ancient wizarding academy in Rome. Soon the academy was fit to burst, and three new academies were scheduled to be built around Italy.
So, in 2007, just outside the small, surbaban town of Brindisi, far away from where muggles could see, and small town named Armonia was built. This town was bulit to home one the latest wizarding academy to hit Italy, Armonia Academy of Magic. While the other two new Academies were concentrated in the North (Milan and Turin respectively) where most of Italy's population resided, the team of builders contracted to build Armonia decided to build it down south, although there were less people to provide for there were still magical communities dotted around down the south of Italy. This is when and where Armonia Academy of Magic was born.
Now, one thousand and five years later, and AA is still standing. With a new generation coming to AA, where will you fit in? The kids who are told that magic is a story, made for Halloween, hold on tight. You, know, you really should start to tell the difference between DREAMS AND REALITY.
