Can You Handle the S C A N D A L?
The former is the letter of acceptance a new student to Long Beach Academy (LBA) will receive upon acceptance in this prestigious California boarding school. The school has its roots deep in tradition and honor, the students are of the highest quality, noble in every aspect. Or so the teachers and parents are led to believe. What goes on behind closed doors here at LBA, stays behind those doors. Students must be careful to keep their guard up, not letting the adults who think they govern their lives in on the true secrets of their real lives. Accidentally letting a teacher in on the real scandals that govern the actions of the teens boarded here, would mean risking expulsion, something no one wants to face.
So what really goes on at LBA? Scandal. Lies. Rumors. Greed. Lust. You name it. Everyday students speak of who said this or that, or who did what with whom. Few students have true friends. It's all about status here. Letting anyone in too close could mean risking a stab in the back. How will you learn to survive here at LBA? Only trial and error will tell. Good luck. Let the initiation begin.
