On the eve of St. George, a festive holiday for Vampires, the leaders of the four clans met at an underground cemetery; Bogdan Otescu from the Moroi Clan, Petru Grigorescu from the Nosferato Clan, Stefan Radulescu from the Pricolici Clan, and Jean Florescu from the Strigoi Clan. Each clan had their differences and ways of belief. The Moroi Clan were very judgemental and depend upon strength before anything else and had a habit of thinking more with instinct. The Pricolici Clan seemed to think more with intelligence and strategy but had a habit of telling far fetched tales. The Nosferato Clan were ruthless heartless creature that thought they were better than everyone else and always told a lie. Then, last but not least, there was the Stragoi Clan who believed in unity and equality and always told the truth.
They had been meeting for several years in hopes of uniting the clans and that night was the last meeting before their goal would be succeeded. As they feasted, they threw toast to each clan. Stefan spoke first, "I wish for a good head of our shoulders and grand future by the four of your sides." Then Bogdan spoke, "I wish strength and healthy sons of our blood!" Petru continued, "I wish for strength and a continuation to our race and for you, Jean Florescu, my new friend, although our pasts have been difficult, a long life to you and your blood line." Jean, the wisest and eldest of them all, stood and raised his glass to the heavens, "I wish for tranquility, forgiveness, and for this plague of hate to never reappear in our hearts and future generation's hearts."
The three other leaders waited as Jean Florescu slowly tilted his drinking wine to his lips. Just as it barely touched, the cup slipped from his grasp and cascaded to the ground. A trickled of blood escaped the corner of his mouth. Sticking out of his stomach was the sharp end of a wooden cross. Stefan quickly noticed a dark figure running up the entrance stairway. The three remaining Clan leaders followed the strange but as soon as they retched the surface, it was gone. They searched for years but found no trace. It began to drive them insane. They began to point figures at one another, making fake accusations toward one another to make their confused mind make sense of the situation. In the end, the unity of the races were shatter and brought even more hatred.
Now, just a year after Jean Florescu's death, his son, Alexandru Florescu has taken leadership and has became the youngest leader any of the clans have ever known. The clans still stay in hatred of one another and point fingers at one another but now, a few humans have begun to become aware of the existence of vampires. They have even made a group of Vampire Hunters. Now, it's your turn to play out what happens next. Will the clans ever unite? Will the young Alexandru manage to keep rule of the angered Strigoi Clan? Will The Vampire Hunters succeed in making all vampire extinct? Only time will tell in A Night's Calling
