Blake was slightly taken back as he stepped inside the Library. The first thing he noticed was how big it was, and how many tall shelves filled the library, all filled with various different books. There was quite a contrast from the school Blake had been in. The public high school he had previously gone to had had a pathetic library with old, slightly ripped books. The library wasn't really a place Blake usually came; it was partially the reason he has never been to the library before even though he's been going to Hoffman for quite awhile now. He wasn't a big reader, and if there was a book he was interested in it was always a book someone had to recommend for him and one they would simply give to him, not a book he would go searching in book stores and libraries for.
It was another rather dull afternoon for Blake. As it was the weekend, he didn't have any classes or anything to do. He hadn't felt like going downtown through London. It was what he usually did on his time off, but this time he decided to stick around the Academy. He was hoping to see someone he knew, but he assumed they would be in one of the practice halls or theatres, not in the library.
Blake stepped further into the library, looking around. At first glance, it would appear to be almost empty. But as he looked around once more, he spotted a couple of other students. Some were hidden away in the library shelves, searching for books, and a couple others were at the table. It was almost completely silent except some footsteps were heard and hushed whispers. He ran a hand through his dirty blond hair, making it even more messy than it was before stepping down one of the aisles of shelves. He wore simple jeans that were slightly worn and ripped at the knees along with a white t-shirt covered by a black jacket. Nothing special, but he needed to do his laundry and he was wearing the remains of his clean clothes.
Pausing at a shelf, he absentmindedly pulled out one of the hard covered books and glanced at the cover. A Complete Guide to Growing Backyard Tomatoes. Frowning slightly, he put the book back and walked down a slight ways along the aisle before pausing at some books again, taking out another one. Speaking Spanish. Well, they really did seem to have all sorts of books here. Then again, he was in the non-fiction section and who knows what other types of categories of books they have here. Blake glanced up as he heard more footsteps, but just saw a young girl hurry past attempting to balance a large pile of books in her arms before disappearing further in the library.

J o y click :][/url] Man this sucked. It was rather pathetic when the last thing Callen had to do was go to a library. Sure she never seemed to have anything to do nowadays, but atleast before today she could find something worth her time. But nope, now she had to go to a library to find entertainment. Along with the fact she needed to get a book about photography. Hopefully she won't end up doing something clumsy to the point she gets kicked out. That's happened way too many times to her to be even remotely funny now. Just about time she worked on school more than her social life. Which seemed to be going downhill very slowly. She had never been great with meeting new friends. Nor new people.
It was either she didn't like them or they didn't like her. Or both. Biting her lower lip, Callen consealed her lip ring with her teeth for a moment. Her small hand taking ahold of the doorhandle to the library; slowly pulling it open. She walked in, glancing around slowly as she looked at the few people who were here. Man this place was huge. She had to give them that much. Callen couldn't really remember the last time she had been in a library. Oh yeah, now she could. She had been in the one in Chicago with Thea and both ended up leaving out of boredom. Nothing too major. Yeah surprising I know. You'd think Callen would have gotten herself thrown out like she almost did every where else. How she accomplished such feats is sometimes even beyond her.
Pulling at the end of her striped shirt, Callen walked further into the library; just reading random book titles. I Am Legend. Not a bad book. She'd begun to read it. But never could finish it since she was horrible with commitment to such things. Okay, time to continue her walking. She gasped, stopping as she saw a shockingly thick book. Her hands picked up a book that read Alice In Wonderland. Oh man this was her favorite book. She only had the movie at the moment. So this was definately a must rent. Callen walked on through not paying much attention to where she was going. Which we all know usually leads to a bad thing. Callen slammed into someone who towered over her; falling back down on her ass. She squeeled, having a small spaz attack. She hated being touched by people she didn't know. "Holy Jesus juice Batman!" She said quickly more to herself.

Boredom was now overcoming Blake, though he didn’t feel like simply turning around and exiting the library. He had no where else to go, unless he aimlessly wandered around the Academy until he ran into someone he knew. The Academy almost seemed a bit empty as the students were either in their dorms, off campus grounds or in one of the theatres or practice halls. Leaning up against the shelf, Blake looked down the aisle before pulling out one of the books. He frowned slightly as the book didn’t budge. It was squeezed tightly between a nature book and an encyclopedia of dogs. He pulled a bit harder and the book came out, though the nature book also fell to the ground. A shushing noise came from an older lady as she peered in down the aisle he was in, a stern look on her face. Blake turned away, not wanting to make the librarian angry as he picked up the nature book and slid it back onto the shelf, along with the other hard covered book he had taken out as he had no interest in actually reading it.
Blake had just turned around when someone suddenly collided with them and fell back down onto the floor. Blinking, Blake stepped back in surprise, trying to catch up with what had just happened. He then spotted the girl sitting on the floor who had said something about juice Batman. Blake’s lips twitched slightly as if he was about to smile, though he put his hand out to help the girl up, feeling a bit bad on what he’d just done.
“Sorry!” he quickly said, forgetting to keep his voice down as he offered to help the girl up. He didn’t even see this girl in the library before, or hear her approaching him. He immediately fell bad that she had actually fallen over and he hoped that she wasn’t annoyed or in a bad mood over it. This wasn’t the first time Blake’s walked into someone and knocked them over. He doesn’t know why it keeps happening; perhaps he needs to become more aware on what’s going on around him. He didn’t recognize the girl, but she was pretty, though her style was quite different than what he was used to. Different, but that wasn’t in a bad way. Blake smiled slightly to the girl, hoping she wasn’t about to blow up at him for the incident.
