Revenge of the Nerds Tour was started in the winter of 2000 by a group of boys from Cold Spring, Minnesota who called their band Adventures on the High Sea. Nobody in their small town actually thought that they would actually make it big. But they did and to prove everybody in their hometown wrong, they started up their own tour.
In the first few years, the tour never lasted more then a month and the bands that played on the tour were barely blips on the music radar. But at one show in a small Colorado town, things started to change. There, they met Christopher Rodgers, a big-shot music executive. He heard how the story of how this tour had got started and decided that this should be a major thing.
Thanks to Christopher, today Revenge of the Nerds Tour is one of the biggest tour's in the nation. Starting in early September and going until late December and features over thirty bands.
And this is exactly why,
Revenge has never tasted so sweet.
