Malise High School is situated in the town of Winnick, a middle class suburb of Highton, Costa Mesa in Southern California. It's primarily a boarding school, no student sleeps at home, some of the students come from outside of California, while others have family who live nearby. Malise High is one of the most well known correctional schools, this is not any type of detention centre or behavioural school, just a boarding school that is trying to help students who have often bee cast aside as troublemakers and attention seekers, when really their problems could be a lot more intense. The teachers of the school are put through a lot of stress, far more then teachers of regular high schools, they are extremely patient, you need to be to handle the kids that attend Malise, they aren't the easiest people to teach, but with the help of support staff and security guards, they are reaching their goals of helping students with behaviour problems, hopefully helping them graduate high school - something a few of them thought wouldn't be possible.
teenagers scare the living shit out of me, they could care less as long as someone'll bleed. so darken your clothes, or strike a violent pose, maybe they'll leave you a lone, but not me.
All students at this school have a problem, no they aren't murderers, it's for students who if not helped will most likely end up in a juvenile detention facility if they have anymore minor run-ins with the law. This is pretty much a school for students who are branded the fuck-ups, these are the students who are ignored by their teachers in class because it is assumed they won't graduate anyway and they won't try and make something of their lives. They have the usual classes, they dorm at the school, many of their teachers live on the campus, and they are just like normal boarding school students. Except your wealth status doesn't matter, this isn't a private place, usually the local government of their area will get them slotted into this place. There are usually fifteen students in a class, maybe less depending on the number of students being sent in during the year, it's a big campus that can hold many more students then they actually have, but it's easier that way, because each student can use the equipment and there are plenty of teachers to go around if someone gets out of hand. Also, for the more uneasy students, they have life lessons, to try and integrate them back into society, it's all about helping them, but some of them don't want to be helped.
the boys and girls in the clique, the awful names that they stick. your never gonna fit in much, kid
The school is pronounced mal-ice not malice, and people usually spell it Malice, when it's Malise. Soon it became the school's nickname and it stuck, it was soon unofficially renamed Malice High by the students, the locals and even some of the staff, years of problem and screwed up kids going in and out of the place, it has its' fair share of rebels and outcast, misfits and such. This is a high school without cliques. Everyone is a rebel, everyone is an outcast and everyone is a fuck up. Which means everyone is equal and it makes them feel so much more comfortable with each other. Of course you have your odd annoyances who want to be the centre of attention, and don't want to be like everyone else, they think they're totally badass and the shit, until someone puts them in their place with a punch in the face. Welcome to Malice High, what did you do to get here then?
