{ you know you could've been a wonder
character’s name lyric parker enderson gender female discipline art - painting age sixteen sexuality straight
{ comes home on call, isn't that peace,
history lyric was born into a very happy, middle-class life in the suburbs of columbus, ohio. her parents were the epitome of a happy, married couple, and led the marriage that many couples fail to obtain. lyric's mother, lydia, met her soul mate, noah, at a art convention in yorkshire, england, the hometown of lyric's father. the minute they laid eyes on each other the couple was smitten, and got married a year later when they found out they were expecting lyric.
since her father was a musician, lyric was named after his muse, and the new parents couldn't be any happy with their healthy baby girl. as lyric grew, she developed a love of the arts, just like her parents, but favored painting just like her mother. lyric and lydia were inseparable when lyric was not attending a private catholic school, and spent most of her summer's with her mother outside painting. however, this relationship changed when lyric was seven, and her mother was pregnant with another baby.
feeling betrayed by her parents, lyric decided she would never talk to her parents again, and stuck to her promise, for nine months. as her mother went into labor on new year's day, lyric had never expected that she would have forgotten the last words she said to her mother. there was a complication in the pregnancy which left lydia dead, and rosaline barely surviving. rosaline was in intensive care for four weeks before the hospital left the mourning family go home, with a brand new baby, but no mother to take care of it.
reeling from the death of her mother, lyric became depressed and unresponsive to the world around her. for three years, lyric did not speak at all, and only used canvas to convey what she had to say, and her feelings. she spent all of her time in seclusion, and couldn't even remember what her father and baby sister looked like at times. finally, after much deep thought, lyric came to terms with her mother's death, and realized that it wasn't her fault her mother died, and that she would have been repulsed by the fact that lyric was letting her life pass right in front of her, while she should be enjoying it.
when lyric turned thirteen her family decided to pack up from ohio and move back to noah's hometown back in london, and start over. although the transition was hard at first for his two daughters, it took a good turn in the long run, and bonded the broken family into a loving, strong trio. lyric finally stepped up to her sisterly duties, and became quite close with rosaline, as well as mending and strengthening her father-daughter relationship into one almost like she had with her mother. a year later, her father found hoffman's academy, and decided that it was best to send lyric there if he wanted to see his daughter's dreams fulfilled, and that's where lyric's story continues today.

{ am I losin' way too much
personality quirky - strikingly unconventional. lyric isn't like your normal teenage girl. she spends more time with canvas than people, but that doesn't make her anti-social. most girls just have a hard time accepting lyric for who she is: different. she likes to do more boy-related activities than spend the day shopping or getting her nails done, and isn't afraid to have a burping contest with someone either. lyric also has her own set of phrases she uses, and often gets amused or odd looks if she uses them out in public.
susceptible - capable of being affected emotionally lyric is easily effected by the words of others, but reacts differently than most people would think. if someone makes a snide comment about her having no motherly figure in her life, or being raised by her father, lyric immediately responds with putting her fist to your face, not crying or running away. lyric is often in fights, verbal arguments, and physical alterations which lands her in detention a lot. it's best to watch what you say around lyric, but if you mention something unknowingly lyric tries not to take offence, she just withdrawals from the situation as quickly as possible.
hopeless romantic - someone that thinks of love passionately. lyric often finds herself daydreaming about a special someone who will accept her for who she is. some people think that she just has her head up in the clouds all of the time, which is partially true, but she's not the "spacey" sort of person others make her out to be. lyric just wishes to be accepted for her flawed self, and often finds herself quoting stupid love poems, and sonnets in her everyday speech which she, herself, finds annoying since she doesn't want anyone to begin to think that she's a softy. she knows it will ensue in more ridicule, so for now, the romantic thoughts she wishes to suppress.

{ my darling you look lovely
portrayed by? ellen page. eyes brown. hair brown. height 5'5. style lyric doesn't really consider herself a girl with "style." she doesn't care about getting all dressed up to go out, and thinks it's a waste of time to spend more than five minutes getting ready in a day. lyric's wardrobe consists of twenty pairs of jeans, a plethora of t-shirts, hoodies, and other necessities to aid her in the english weather. lyric just has a comfortable style, and doesn't wear any torture pieces of fashion just to look good. she'll only wear heals, or any type of dress only when forced to.
