history
Lei was born in worst part of the town. Her family did not have a lot of money when she was a child. Times were hard as her parents bounced around from job to job, only working there before work got hard and they would bail. Her parents were cocaine addicts and not around a lot of the time. They would dump her off on her relatives.

When Lei was only five years, Lei's father, Derrek Sullivan, was killed in a drug deal gone wrong. And her mother was so heart stricken that she committed suicide by heroine overdose only a few months after her father had been mudered. By law, she was required to live with a family member. That was when she was taken in by her aunt and uncle Tai and Toren.

As cliche as this may sound, Lei never really knew her parents and never really mourned their death, but she would occassionally visit the grave. The unspoken reason why she buried herself in her work was because of her parents death. She never really spoke of them unless it was to Justine, Martin, and Ken, a group of close nit friends from her hometown.

Around the age of fifteen she met what would be known as the best thing that had ever happened to her. While her sophomore year in high school she met a girl, who would turn out to be the best friend she had ever known. Needless to say that Lei ditched her old friends and made this new one.

Despite all the ups and downs in her life, Lei considers hereself to be a survivor. A lucky girl.

One of her many character traits is that she is a very happy-go-lucky girl. Much opposite of her dear cousins. She can be seen with a small smile crossing her gentle features where ever she goes. She tries to stay optimistic in almost all of her situations. She thinks that pessimistic people have bad chi. This half asian tried to remain up beat most of the time, because, in her mind life was to short to brood and to be depressed. knowing her history, she also thinks that life is too short.

Another great thing about Lei, is the fact that she is so caring. Her friends sometimes refer to her as 'the mama' or 'mom'. She is willing to do almost everything for her friends. She tries to put others and things before her own wants and needs, sometimes that is her downfall. She hates letting others down and works hard to please everybody around her. Lei is definitley a people pleaser and a definite go getter, having great confidence in herself.

Live hard. Party hard. A few of the guidelines she live by. Unlike most girls, Lei is happy with watching tv and beer and being one of the guys. She is thoroughly headstrong and are arrogant at times. She is all about her vanity and she shows no shame, but takes pride in whtat she does and how she does things. A lucky girl. She remained strong throughout the last twelve years of her life. Even though she had to grow up quickly, responsibility is not an issue with her.

How to describe Lei's style? She's preppy one day and scanitly clad the next. She's a mixture of all kinds of things. She never stays with one style to long. Most of the time she will turn a fad and turn it into her own. It all depends on her attitude of the day. She is probably the true definition of someone with personal style, she had a lot of it.

BUZZ!!! The alarm clock on the old wooden dresser that stood to the full size bed of Lei. Her hand immediately shot out of the covers, punching the snooze button. She rolled over onto her back. Her eyes fluttered open once she felt the sun's warm sunrays grace her face. She sat up, letting out a long yawn.

She slung her feet off the side of the bed. It took a moment for her to get her focus and for her to entirely wake up.

"Another day, another day." she repeated to herself, throwing her legs over the side of her bed. She slowly slid out of bed and shuddred slgihtly when her feet touched the cool wooden flooring of the house.

Lei wandered aimlessly downstairs and into the kitchen wearing her senses were greeted with the smell of fresh coffee brewing and bacon sizzling. She never got this at her old home, no, all she remembered was the smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke. This was always her favorite thing about living here. It seemed rather boring, but she knew for good reason that it was better this way.

"Good morning, Lei." Toran greeted her niece with a warm smile and a plate of food.

"Girl." Tai said to his neice with a smirk looking up from his plate of scrambled eggs and bacon. Lei stuck her tongure out at her uncle as she looked down at the table, grabbing her glass of orange juice.


Lei smiled back and took her normal seat at the table across from Tai, to the left of her an empty seat for her cousin who had not come from from the previous night, and to the right of Toran. Once she was adjusted in her seat, she looked around the table. She never got tired of seeing the entire family at the breakfast table. It warmed her heart so dearly and she was thankful for the second chance at being in a family.
