In the year 1969 two people met that would change the other's world forever. At a show outside called Woodstock the two met one another. A man and a woman.

In a world of free love the two didn't give a damn what others though. The outgoing couple was, unlike many couples of the time, very close to one another and refused to share the other with any partner. The woman, by the name of Shawna Austin, a seventeen year old high school drop out, and the man by the name of Jacob Syniam, a twenty-four year old musician, fell in love.

It would be ten years before they married in 1979.
They reason they married was the fact that Shawna was carrying a child. A child that would be so much like the sun that they would name him "Austin". He would be the first of three.

The two saved up everything that they could and bought a small house after moving from California to the ever hectic London.
Two pregnancies filled the two year time span that followed after Austin's birth. The family survived on what little could be made from street performances and a vegetable garden in the back yard.

[x]Childhood:
Born to Shawna and Jacob Syniam the infant Gypsy was very loved and adored. In being the second daughter in an all earth adoring family he was raised around men that to planting and women that liked to dance and have a good time. His older brother, born a year before, was her role model. As a child he adored his brothers, more so than he'd ever adored anyone else. They grew up like best friends.
When Gypsy was four years old she learned the piano and her brother learned how to play the violin at the same time. The two were a good pair.
This is also the time that Gypsy started going camping with her father and brother.

For all looks she was a normal young lass. Gypsy learned how to fish and survive on the land until she was six years old. But then her life changed forever.

One Summer night when Gypsy had just turned seven the moon hung low in the southern sky, full and bright. Her father and brother had taken her camping for her birthday in the deep, murky woods that surrounded them. Her father, ironically enough, had started to tell a story about the Wolfman to his two young children and then a savage howl ripped through the night. All three shrieked, then they saw it: a beast before them with eyes like fire.

The three ran to the truck, but Gypsy fell over some fallen timber and felt the horrid pain of teeth slashing into the meat of her leg. Gypsy's father quickly reacted and somehow managed to drag his bleeding daughter away.

From the attack Gypsy was forced to have sixty-four stitches in her left leg. She missed a little school, then returned with crutches.
This caused Gypsy's fear of dogs, even if she has a puppy. (She's slowly getting over it. If the dog is big when she sees it, she freaks out and can't go any further.)

When she turned ten she started to actually get made fun of for being different in school. Gypsy had never really eaten meat for anything, because her mother and father were vegetarians and all three of the children took after them in their distaste for the meat. It was here where Raine started to lock her anger inside of herself, which resulted in her crying more than getting angry.
This earned him the nick name of wuss and wimp from all the cruel young lads and lasses that made their school.

Her mother worried about her, but just told her to meditate, which she started to do often.

[x]Highschool:
Gypsy appeared to have a handle in Math and other subjects that surrounded it. She was good in Maths and Sciences and Arts. But anything else she really couldn't get a handle on. She was good at her classes and was passing. But, due to boredom in classes she wasn't given very good grades. Seeing as she had a 70 in a math class it was suggested to send her somewhere else. Her acting was very applaudable, as well, which made her feel a little bit awkward around those that weren't as skilled in the thespian classes.
So, with a high spirit, she started attending Hoffman this year, due to a scholarship awarded for her math and acting capabilities.

That, of course, brings us up to where we are today.

Beautiful. Brazen. Brave. Gypsy is one of the closest things you'll get to mother nature. She knows how to nurture, she knows how to care. A sweet woman by heart, a fighter by standards. She's always been strong willed and yet patient all at once. She has a very strong outlook on life and would much rather get out there and do damage than sit back and look pretty. She can't stand to be the center of attention, which brings a paradox into her personality. She's a wonderful actress and she loves it very much, but she can not stand for people to pay attention exclusively to her. She's powerful and strong willed with a strong outlook on life.

She's not very angry inside, but usually she'll box up bad things and smile so that no one will ask what's wrong. She's a powerful woman that is almost feminist. She believes in equal rights for everyone and is set in her ways. Gypsy is an oddball. She likes to do things that people would point her out from. Things like walk barefoot in the snow and pace up and down the hallways when no one is looking at her. She isn't afraid to look like a fool. Actually she quite enjoys it. She loves to hear people whisper "isn't that that odd girl, Gypsy?"

Gypsy has many ups and downs to her. If someone is willing to get to know the girl they will realize that he is very, very self reliant and enjoys being out there on her own. She likes to be the one to control herself and the second she loses control of a situation the girl will freak out. She's not really got a temper. She holds all her emotions inside and doesn't worry about it until it blows up. When she's frustrated or upset or even angry she'll cry. And sometimes she'll be like "Why am I crying?!" out loud, which only makes it worse because she doesn't know.

Gypsy's happy demeanor isn't because she wants to be, per say. She's just developed the mentality over time that if she isn't there to pick people up then no one would be. She likes to see people smile and is, in all sense of the word, the school hugger. She thinks hugs make things a little bit better, rather than allowing things to go on like they are.

Once Gypsy makes friends she has the tenancy to cling to them and to use them as a life preserver. She's a good friend herself, she just wears her emotions on her sleeve. She's not a bad person, sometimes she thinks she is.
Sometimes, when she's alone, Gypsy will sing to herself to cheer herself up, especially when she's missing his mother and father. She's an honest person that wouldn't steal or do anything bad, though she does like to cause riots. She likes to talk and persuade, and she likes to get out there and stand up for what she believes in.
Religiously she is in no real movement. She doesn't believe in gods or goddesses. But she does believe that everything happens for a reason and that the earth is a mother, looking out for her children. The earth is what makes her smile!

Almond shaped eyes that are always dancing with a smile. Her eyes are a lovely dark shade of blue and are lined usually with eyeliner. Her eyes are thickly lashed and seem to be open to the world around her. Usually covered by a pair of thick sunglasses she has 20/20 vision and likes purple and pink eye shadows.

She has long hair that is a violent shade of red. Multilayered, it is usually well styled and kept down over her thin shoulders. The other colors that range in her hair are different and usually vary depending upon what she is feeling ranges from blond to blue to red to green. She's a very diverse individual.

She is random as hell. Gypsy likes all things odd and out there, with a hint of love for the occult. She dresses in the "Victorian" style, or "Gothic" as some call it. She likes layered things, and yet enjoys to add some sort of sex appeal to her wardrobe. She has a small body, so she enjoys showing off her ample breasts and butt. She has curves and wears clothes to prove it. One day her clothes might be all black and the next her ensemble could be random splotches of horridly searing color. She likes to mix it up. AS for shoes she likes something that can get her elevated. Tall shoes and rarely converse, she enjoys to shock people out of their everyday norm.

November was a cold month that was resolute in the death of winter. Ice was starting to show through the leaves and people were bundling up more in this month than they had in the fall months before. American boys and girls were starting to wait with watering mouths for the end of the month and for the day of Thanksgiving, which, to Raine, was a stupid holiday meant only for the support of such a tacky thing as gluttony. He hated the entire idea. The most that his family would do during the day of thanks was maybe a blackberry pie that had been made by either Raine or his mother, depending upon who had been the lucky one that yet. Raine always liked to make the pie. It always had some sort of creole twang to it, that made his mouth water and his family praise him when they ate the scrumptious good that was offered to them.

Today he'd gathered a few things for Anthony, a few candles to make their room feel better and have more of a cosmic feeling, something that would allow their karma to penetrate the walls to create that feeling of peace between them again. The Sebastian thing really seemed to be pissing Anthony off to no extent.
The young man was so eager to make up to Anthony that he had not payed much attention to the things that the rosters upon rooms were saying.
He had had his head up in the clouds, happy and yet that was slapped to a close as soon as his feet hit the carpet of their dorm. Something was wrong, something was off about the karma inside his room...

That was when the sad truth came back to him and he realized, to the greatest despair, that he had been changed rooms and room mates. Now there was another pair in the room that had soaked up their good karma and was vibrant with some sort of childish love that nothing could break, not even the rough ride of time.

The idea of pain and sadness filling that room was foreign to all possibilities, and Raine didn't want to find himself lost to any sort of panic that came with the sadness of losing Anthony, a boy so close to him that he didn't want to let go of, someone that he didn't want to say no to ever, and someone that he adored. He didn't want to find himself without his dear friend and he wondered profusely if he would remain friends with the boy that had been his roommate.
Raine took in a long breath before he removed the key from its place within the other lock, and moved over to the room before it.

Once inside the seventeen year old flower child made his way over to the bed to gaze about his surroundings. It looked oddly cramped in the side of the room that would have been Anthony's. Raine's things had all been arranged neatly in a little stack of books and paper, of notes and photos.
The Nouveau didn't have much, he didn't have a computer and he didn't have anything fancy like that. Raine only had what he needed. When he needed a computer he used to use Anthony's and sometimes he'd find himself in the library on theirs. Sure, he was saving as much money as he could a month for a new laptop computer and a printer because it was something he had to have, but otherwise he wasn't very concerned about such things.

The long haired young man settled himself on his unmade bed, contenting himself with taking in the new surroundings. His small hands reached into the bag he was carrying, slipping out a white candle. Placing the round thing upon his table he lit the wick and watched as the flame blazed to life, filling him with the warmth of knowing that he wasn't totally alone at the moment and that he had something that he was familiar with: the fire.
