Jayce was always very spoilt, coming from a very rich family, his father allowed him to have anything he ever wanted. His mother was the only one who stopped him from becoming snobbish, for she was loving and caring soul and kept him well nourished but not stuck-up. Jayce enjoyed his life then, he loved being with his family even though he was young. But he remembered the day it all fell apart and his family was broken up.

Charles and his mother were having lots of arguments, fighting all the time so much that they couldn’t hide it from their only son. Jayce didn’t understand what was happening, his parents loved each other so why were they being so mean? But love eventually dies away, and they were already having problems when they first got married. After a screaming fight, Jayce went to sleep crying, he was only four years old. That night, his mother came in and kissed him goodnight, and he heard her footsteps. He ran out to the door, and saw her leaving, going out into the rain with a suitcase, and he knew that he would never see her again.

Jayce and his father fought for a while, Jayce didn’t understand why his mother went and blamed his father for making her leave. It was very depressing in the Scott household for a while, until a woman entered and tried to make everything better. Her name was Vanessa, she was caring and nice, but she wasn’t his mother. She tried to talk to him like one, and read him stories at night the same way his mother did, but she wasn’t his mother. Jayce would never let her replace his mother. Ever. But his father had made that choice for him.

Vanessa moved in, bringing her daughter Bliss with her. Charles and Vanessa got married, and Jayce was furious at first, storming up to the house straight after the wedding. It was now official, Vanessa and Bliss were his new family. He didn’t want a knew family, he wanted his old one, the good one. Another night of crying himself to sleep, and Vanessa came in secretly, and spoke to little Jayce, explaining that she wasn’t going to replace his mother and that she wanted him to keep Danielle in his heart, but to let others in too. He had to stop blaming his father for what happened; it was his mother’s choice to leave. She kissed on the forehead like his mother used to do, and left, leaving the door slightly open so a stream of light could enter, just like his mother. And from then on, he realized that Vanessa would never be his true mother, but she would always be in his heart just the same.

Jayce began accepting his family then, even started calling Vanessa mum as memories of his mother faded away. He and Bliss were now friends, although it was a fierce competition to be the better child. He enjoyed it though, it was good fun competing and it helped him strive harder. Christmas that year was great, they brought Jayce a piano and hired one of the best Piano teachers in Europe to teach him. He caught on quickly and his parents realized that he was a natural. He quickly advanced into better classes, and began competing in competitions and most of the time, won.

He applied for Hoffman when he was old enough, realizing that he was meant to be a pianist, even though the pressure was great from his parents to do well. He was always jealous of the attention they gave Bliss, even though she saw it the other way around. But he knew, that as soon as he got to Hoffman it would be alright, he wouldn’t need to feel pressured because he wasn’t going to be compared to anyone. But that didn’t last very long, Bliss soon applied for college and got in, so it was once again a competition. He has always been protective over her, and now that she was at the Hoff, he had to protect her again, making sure she didn’t get into trouble or anything. He’s enjoying his time at the Hoff, working hard but people always picked on he and Bliss, thinking that they only got in here because their parents paid for them to get in. They knew it wasn’t true, they were just jealous of their talent. Sometimes it was hard to take, but he and Bliss got through it, proving that they meant to be here.

Even when Jayce was young he discovered that he was a very caring soul. He would always look after his mother, and when he was put into Hoffman, he found that he often looked after his friends as well. He couldn’t help but try and keep everyone happy and he is always there when someone needs him. He keeps secrets well, and he’s a good liar when he needs to be. His friends find him very trustworthy and a good shoulder to cry on. He’s patient, so he’ll sit and wait with you while you vent out your emotions.

Even though Jayce is patient and caring, when he gets annoyed it is very hard to calm him down. It is not easy to make him really angry, but if you have done it you’ll regret it immediately. He’ll ay things that he shouldn’t have, and he’ll do things that he’ll later regret. He wouldn’t ever go as far to hit a girl in anger, but he has almost done once, so it would be better if you didn’t cross him. He is known for having the worst insults when he’s annoyed as he plays on people’s insecurities it makes him a very formidable enemy. But like I said before, it is very rare for him getting that angry.

Jayce would choose a serious relationship over a one night stand any day, he believes that there has got to be in a relationship then the physical stuff. He knows that that plays a big part as well, but without the attraction and the bonding of two souls, the relationship is nothing then a sex-trip. There is nothing wrong with that in his opinion, he’d just before to be in love then in lust. Some girls like that too, others think its weak but he doesn’t mind, he believes women are more then just sex-toys.

Jayce has a very big sense of humor, but its usually only his friends that get to see it. He’s always making little comments to make his friends laugh, and a lot of them aren’t always at other people’s expense. Infact, most of the time he’ll give his friends a knowledgeable fact that they don’t understand and they’ll just laugh it him. he doesn’t care though, he loves seeing his friends laughing.

Shy is a word used to describe Jayce very well. He doesn’t blush or anything when he’s meeting knew people, he just doesn’t like to speak much or open up to them. He tends to just look around and avoid speaking, or he doesn’t say much. His mind is usually buzzing with things to say, but he won’t say anything. It is pretty hard to get him to speak, but it is usually worth it. All of his friends have had to talk to him first, because he is too bashful to say anything to a stranger. Cute, abut annoying at times.

Jayce is very empathic, he often looks at things from other peoples perspectives, trying to understand what they are thinking. A talent that he has mastered is seeing what people are feeling through their eyes, sometimes it’s a little trickier then others, but its helpful at poker nights. He tries to understand what the other person is feeling, and when he has determined that, he’ll begin thinking of a response. It doesn’t take him that long, but he doesn’t reply straight away, and when he does, he usually says the wrong thing and makes the person feel worse.

He is very passionate about anything he does, he believes that if you don’t give it your all you might as well not be doing it. He works hard and even though he doesn’t like lots of the things he has to do, he won’t stop until the job has done. The same things goes when he has made a bet, or agreed to do a dare or made an agreement with someone, he will always do what he said he will do. Sometimes, it makes him look like a complete idiot, doing these stupid dares and stuff, others it makes him look good because he keeps his pride.

Jayce is very smart, he knows a lot of facts that everyone else doesn’t. They are often irrelevant and pointless. He enjoys playing video games on the computer and on his Xbox, and he has one of the best computers in Hoffman. Although he is a nerd, he still enjoys watching sports and he’s a pretty good football player, though he isn’t one of the best. He likes having the best of everything technology wise, although he doesn’t go around boasting about it.
