history
It was a typical day on the Irish coast when Landon Michael Sullivan was born. The rain was pouring down and the sun was no where to be seen. The dreary day made the situation at hand quite stereotypical, for Landon was not the only child born to Michael and Annie Sullivan. Annie had actually given birth to twins early that morning. The premature birth had been the first shock of the day, but things seemed to be looking up as they welcomed the first of two beautiful boys into the world. Landon was a beautiful baby, and quite healthy, even for being premature. However, when the second child was born all smiles faded. The child they had named Logan did not cry or move when he was born. After a several minutes of trying to revive the child he was pronounced dead.
Having a still born baby naturally upset the young couple, but it cause Annie so much pain that she couldn't look at her living son. For several days after his birth Landon was neglected by his parents as they mourned the loss of his younger brother. When it was time to take him home Michael had to do all of the work. Annie still had no interest in having contact with her child. Overtime, you'd think this feeling would have faded, right? Not for Annie. As Landon grew up his father tried his best to raise him with very little help from his mother. His first word was 'mama', however he was referring to the nanny that his father had no other choice but to hire. Even on his second birthday Annie was still spending most of her time in bed, mourning the loss of her youngest son.
On Landon's third birthday Michael decided to throw a party for all of the children in the neighborhood and their parents. Of course, this excited Landon beyond belief, seeing as he'd never had a party. The house full of people and presents made him so happy that he flew up the stairs to tell his mother, but when he burst into her bedroom what he found banished the smile from his face. He jumped up on the bed next to his mother and shook her, trying in vain to wake her. Earlier that day, on the third anniversary of Logan's death Annie had taken several pain pills in attempt to kill the pain she was in. Instead she killed herself, leaving her husband and son pretty much alone.
Finding his mother dead would have been a life scaring event for Landon had he been just a bit older. Over the next few years of his life the few memories he had of her faded away and were replaced by happier ones, like the day his father remarried. Landon was 5 years old when Michael chose to take Ellen as his second wife. This didn't bother Landon one bit seeing as Ellen had been his nanny and more of a mother to him than Annie ever had been. She was the woman who introduced him to Dance, Ballet specifically. Yes, ballet isn't particularly common among men because of the insults thrown their way, but Landon didn't care. He was comfortable with the fact that he loved the beauty and fluidity of the movement, and Ellen had taught him as a small child that didn't make him any less of a man.
As Landon got older ballet became less of a hobby and more of a passion. At the age of 7 it became quite obvious to his parents that Landon had quite a bit of talent. First they enrolled him in extra dance classes, but as he got older that wasn't near enough. By the time he was 10 Michael and Ellen came to the decision that Landon needed to be in an arts school. That was the only place that would be able to keep up with him. So, they enrolled him in a boarding school for the arts, rather reluctantly. Ellen hadn't been away from Landon for more than a few hours since right after he was born. Sending him away for months at a time caused her to break down. But, when Landon began to prosper her spirits rose. The years he spent at that school lead him to be one of the best ballet dancers they had. When it came time for him to start high school all of his instructors suggested he be sent to Hoffman Academy, one of the most competitive arts schools in the UK. Landon auditioned, hoping for a scholarship, because his middle class family really couldn't afford the tuition, but even with he pressure on his audition went marvelously and his acceptance letter followed in the mail, along with the offer of a full ride. The past two years Landon has spent working his ass off at Hoffman, in order to renew his scholarship. He's pulled it off so far lets see if the next two years go as well.

personality
SHY;;
[shahy] –adjective
1. bashful; retiring.
2. easily frightened away; timid.
Being raised the way he was caused Landon to be a quiet child. He kept to himself most of the time, either dancing or studying. That trait has not gone anywhere. Over the past few years he's become a bit more social, but never too much. Most of his friends are dancers, which is expected, seeing as thats what he does with pretty much all of his time. Landon isn't one to start conversations with people unless he really has to, so this means he doesn't really associate with many people outside of the dance studio. Unless, of course, they approached him, and then it would be rude not to talk to them. Being shy also means that Landon isn't one to flirt with girls. In fact, the boy has never had a girlfriend or even been kissed. That could come from the fact that majority of the school thinks he's gay, but as an optimist he'll say it's all him being shy and a bit reserved.
INTELLIGENT;;
[in-tel-i-juhnt] –adjective
1. having good understanding or a high mental capacity; quick to comprehend, as persons or animals: an intelligent student.
The only thing that interests Landon more than ballet is reading. He really could sit for hours on end and do nothing but read, but he'd miss rehearsal, and that wouldn't go over so well. Anyway, the majority of the time if you don't find Landon stretching in the dance halls, you'll find him huddled up in a corner somewhere with his nose in a book, any book. He's ready everything from the classics to every single star wars novel. To him it doesn't matter. The more he reads the more intelligent that makes him, or at least he seems to think so, and in this case he'd be right. Since Landon started here at Hoffman he hasn't made anything lower than an 'A' in all of his classes. This is probably because he reads the text books from cover to cover right after he gets them. This puts him ahead of the class immediately, and his photogenic memory keeps him there.
NERDY;;
[nur-dee] –adjective
1. a person who lacks social skills, esp. someone interested in technical things.
When someone thinks of a nerd they automatically assume that the kid is a book worm with no life, a gamer with no life, or some sort of sci-fi junkie who dresses up in costumes and acts out his favorite scenes from star wars. Yes, Landon is a star wars fan. No, girls you don't have to worry about being asked to play Princess Leia in the gold bikini. He's not quite on that level. However, he does read quite a bit and he has been known to pull all nighters writing code. Code for what you ask? Well some are little games he's invented in his spare time and others... well the others are viruses, worms, or spy ware that he keeps on disks, just in case he might ever need them. Yeah, the kid that everyone accuses of being gay could probably crash every single computer in the school. Why hasn't he? Well, he's a bit smarter than that. Landon knows it would get traced back to him. For now he'll just let the satisfaction of knowing that he could make him feel better. On top of the killer coding skills Landon dabbles in hacking. OK, dabbles is an understatement. He's actually quite good. In fact most people come to him when they want to read their exs emails or have a look into someone's private life. He's even been known to change a grade or two. If you can meet his price, that is.
SWEET;;
[sweet] –adjective
1. Having a pleasing disposition; lovable.
2. Kind; gracious.
OK, so what kind of girl doesn't like the sweet heart kind of guy? Actually most don't. They tend to go for the bad boys who've got their cigarettes, their cars, or their guitars. Sure, those things are nice but bad boys also come with things that aren't so fun. Landon still hasn't been able to figure out why the nice guy always finishes last. Especially when the bad boys cheat, bad mouth, and all around abuse their women. You'd never catch Landon mistreating a woman. He's what you'd call a proper gentleman. Treating a lady with respect is one of the most important things he learned as a child. Men are supposed open doors, pull out chairs, and speak kind words. Never will you hear anything derogatory come from Landon's mouth toward a woman, and probably not to guy either. Unless, of course it was warranted and then that's a different story. Though, the insult wouldn't be much. Landon really doesn't have it in him to be ruthless. He's a sweet natured guy.
EFFEMINATE;;
[i-fem-uh-nit] –adjective
1. (of a man or boy) having traits, tastes, habits, etc., traditionally considered feminine, as softness or delicacy.
Since middle school Landon has been dealing with the taunts about him being gay. By this point he's gotten quite use to it, but I'm here to assure you that he is 100 percent straight. Sure, he's a bit effeminate. What ballet dancing boy who was raised by his nanny with very little input from his father wouldn't be? Does that really matter, though? He's still quite masculine once you get to know him, but apparently people would rather assume than find out for certain. Just because Landon shows his emotions and doesn't walk around berating everyone to make himself feel better, like some of the guys here doesn't mean he's less of a man for it. The fact that he doesn't react to the insults or even let them bother him actually makes him more of a man than the people who throw them. He likes who he is, ballet shoes and all.

style
Defining Landon's style is really quite simple. He's not one of those guys who cares to much about his appearance, though he does value hygiene. So, he usually rolls out of bed and pulls on a pair jeans and a shirt with his pair of run down converse. Now, for dance glass he is required to wear tights and specific shoes, but you wouldn't see him wearing that outside of class of rehearsal. No, his wardrobe is pretty simple and could easily be described as boring. Who knew some could have so many Death Cab for Cutie shirts? Anyway, he doesn't play into the typical nerd category with sweater vests and ties, though if he's getting dressed up he'll put on a nice dress shirt and if you're special enough a tie, other than that his closet really wouldn't interest you.
