history There was no telling what happened the night Rae was concived. Ok, maybe you could tell, but those details mean nothing for the most part. Nine months after that night, on January 13, 1991, Rae was born. She was born into one big happy family. Peter her older brother, her mom, her dad, and now her. Ok, so maybe not big, but a medium sized family.
She lived a happy life with her artsy family. The two kids, Peter and Rae got to do a lot of things that they wanted to do. Mainly because their parents weren't extremely strict. The two parents wanted their children to be happy so they only inforced rules that were absolutely nessicary. Like not jumping off the roof. The two kids enjoyed their freedom.
Rae lived in a lot of different cities while she was growing up. She really doesn't even remember her original hometown now. They moved too much. The kids learned to never unpack wherever they went. They were happy that the two of them had each other, because it was hard to make friends over and over and over again. She understands that her parents liked following oportunities and chances to make it big. It just so happened that most of the big opportunities never seemed to be in the same city.
Finally the family moved to New York. The aspiring artist and photographer finally made it big. They stayed in New York until Rae was an sixth grader. Then her parents made one last move. This time to Malibu. Now that they had more money, and their careers were taking off, they wanted their kids to live in a better city than New York. Even though Malibu isn't much better.
After living in Malibu for a couple of years, Rae wanted to move again. Not anywhere in the states though. She wanted to move somewhere out of the country, live London maybe. Yeah, she wanted to live in London. Her parents started finding out about good boarding schools in London over that summer and found Hoffman Academy. They thought that Rae should go there, and she agreed. Now Rae and her brother have been going to Hoffman Academy since the begining of this year.

personality Rae is extremely outgoing. She's not afraid to do anything. Tell her to do something and watch her do it. From talking to a complete and utter stranger to dancing like an idiot in front of someone. She doesn't care what you think about her either. Tell her she's immature and stupid, then she'll probably roll her eyes and continue doing whatever she was doing. She never gets nervous or shy. Rae doesn't even beleive that she can blush.
She'll tell you the straight up truth too. If you ask her her opinion and you're looking for a compliment, you might not get one. She's not one of those people who will tell you that you look gorgeous even if you look the worst you have ever looked. Thats just not Rae. At all. She doesn't like it when people tell her lies like that, even if you're trying to keep their feelings from being hurt. She knows that if you do, then they're really going to be upset when someone else says something to them.
Rae is usually pretty nice. To basically everyone too. She's not one to judge you on how you look, or what she's heard about you. She'll get to know you first. Then make her judgement. If she doesn't like you then, tough. You won't be able to change her mind about you too easily either. If she doesn't like you, she won't be mean to you unless you're mean to her. When Patyn's mean, she can be mean. And if you get her mad, really mad, then you would just need to leave her to cool down. If you try to calm her, then you probably will just make her even madder.

portrayed by? aj michalka eyes green-blue hair blonde height five foot four style Rae doesn't really have a set in stone style. She will wear brand name, desiner, or just something out of a thrift store. She doesn't care. She'll dress in whatever she beleives is cute. That could be pretty much anything. It could be something that you would think only someone scene would wear like a band tee shirt, skinny jeans, and some Vans. It could be something completely different. An abercrombie polo, mini skirt, and flip flops. She'll even mix styles. She's gotten a lot of compliments and a lot of people bashing her sense of style. She doesn't listen to any of them though. She continues to wear what she wants too, no matter what, and she will probably always do that. Mainly because Rae never has and never will care about anyone else's opinion on things.

Patyn saw Jennifer reach her hand towards her. By this time Patyn was already standing. She was wondering why Jennifer didn't help her up to start with. Actually, it didn't bother her that much. She knew that she just didn't think about it. Thats how Patyn could be sometimes. She wouldn't even think about things that most people always thought of. Now that she thought about it. Her and Jennifer were a little more alike then she thought. She shook her head a little. "Naw. Its ok." she said to her. Then Patyn listened to her next question. This time, she nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm fine." she said with a small smile.
She wasn't sure why she had fallen in the first place. Jennifer was fit, yes but she wasn't unmoveable. Patyn was fit as well. She wasn't a complete and utter sports girl, except when it came to soccer. She was good at it. She had played soccer pretty much every year. Some people were actually kind of surprised that she played soccer, much less any sport. Patyn just didn't really seem like the sporty kind of girl.
Patyn smiled when she smiled. Smiling seemed contagious. At least, around Patyn they were. She wasn't sure if everyone just smiled around her or if she made them smile. Its not like she did anything to make them smile. She'd just be herself in front of them. Of course, thats what makes some people smile, seeing someone being themselves. She didn't see how some people tried to be things that they weren't. Patyn knew that she couldn't do that. She had to be herself. If she tried to act like someone else and undork like, then eventually, someone would see through her.
Actually, she had done that before. When she first moved to New York, she tried to be the whole happy go lucky, preppy, bubbly kind of girl that was often common there. Half the girls at her old New York school were like the girls she tried to be. Then she tried to fit in with all those girls. Stupid move. She hated all those girls. Finally, she decided to be herself and act all dorky and not be happy twenty four hourse a day, seven days a week. Yeah, not as many people wanted to be her friend because she had lied to them for a while, but soon everyone loved her. She was different. She liked different. The people here at Paris Prep seemed to like different as well. She had yet to see one of those girls she used to try to be. She smiled at Jen when she brought up her comics again. She nodded. At least with Jennifer she could be extremely dorky.
She nodded at Jennifer. "Well, you've gotten a heck of a lot further than I have." she said. She was reffering to her blank page that was still sitting on her desk. Now that she thought about it, the page wasn't completely blank. It had slobber stains all over it from Patyn falling asleep repeatedly on it. She couldn't stay focused long enought to work on it. Then if she did start focussing on it, she would start getting really tired. Then she'd fall asleep. "Yeah. Help would be awesome." she said. She knew that she probably wasn't going to be able to finish it without some help.
She heard Jennifer mutter an "Oh." She figured because she thought that she might get hurt or something. Patyn didn't really think that she would get hurt. Or at least she hoped not. She'd be so devistated if Nick ever did hurt her. She smiled when Jen asked what she was waiting for. She smiled at her. "Well, to start with, his name is Nick. Nick Warren. I think his brothers name is Chaise." she thought about it. Was that his brothers name? Yeah, it was.
She was about to have to take a deep breath. Patyn was probably going to talk fast. Really fast. That was just something she did when she was excited. "First of all. We talked over IM. Yeah, I know not the best way to meet someone, much less a guy. Then we met in the courtyard. He's in a wheelchair, but that didn't bother me and still doesn't. Mainly because he's not perminently in the chair. He just has a broken arm and leg, so obviously crutches where out of the question. He's really cute and really sweet. He told me a lot about himself. He was hit by a car! That was why he was in the wheelchair. He gave me a kiss on the cheek. yeah, thats not huge, but hey, its still something." Patyn paused for a moment and took a breath. A couple of breaths actually. She hoped that Jen could understand most of what she had just said, she had said it so fast. Before Jennifer could say anything, Patyn started talking again. "Then we met again. This time we went to his dorm. Nothing really special happened there. We talked some more. Then we played his keyboard. We pretty much held hands. Ok, so maybe we didn't but, he did grab my hand to show me the keys to play. He did hold onto my hand a little longer than nessiecary though. Then I kissed him. On the cheek, again, but still. Oh and I'm going out with him again later tonight to Altitude 95. Oh my god. I can't wait!" she said in one breath again. She really wasn't sure if Jennifer had caught everything she had said that time. She was beaming by now.
