history Nothing seems all too important about 12:49 am on December 12 1986 but little did people know what a little disaster was brought into the world. Reed was born in a rural town known as Manistee, Michigan. The town was fairly small and news traveled fast. This too meant that secrets stayed within the town and rarely escaped. Wade was born with a twin, a brother if you wish and yet he had never really known of him. He had merely been given away as a present while Reed had been the lucky one.
though surrounded with bad, Reed never realized things were wrong in his life. He didn’t have a daddy and that hadn’t bothered him. His teenage mother had been abandoned by his alcoholic father before he could even remember and therefore he naturally coped with that fact. He had never asked for much and therefore never received it, living in his own little world with himself. He had never really been rich and yet had managed to scrape together enough money between birthdays and Christmas to buy himself a few video games to occupy his time; only helping to lead into more of the recluse he was becoming day by day.
At age eight, Reed had discovered his mother’s severe case of bipolar and slight schizophrenia. He had caught her muttering apparently to herself once, pushing his way past her door and into her room. Tears ran down her slightly reddened cheeks as she rocked herself back and forth. Obviously Reed was oblivious as to what to do, placing a hand on her arm and questioning what was wrong. Without much warning, Reed was struck across the face, sending him running down the hall and into his room. He hadn’t cried like a normal little child but rather cursed loudly, wishing his mother would go away and die.
A day had passed since Reed had been in to see his mother, finding the silence of the house odd. She should have been at work well over an hour ago and yet the old station wagon still remained in driveway. Yet again, Reed had pushed himself into her room only to reveal the horrifying scene. The walls had been streaked with smeared crimson liquid, the sheets stained as well. Turning around the corner and into the bathroom, Reed discovered his mother’s lifeless bodice which had been left to bleed out.
Obviously, he had believed it was his doings due to the wish but in reality, Reed's father had returned to Manistee. His father had been in the process of suing his mother for custody of Reed and she failed to allow it, eventually leading to her murder. Reed had been the smart little boy he was and called 911 in hopes of saving his already dead mother though hopes were lost for her.
An group home wasn’t exactly the best place to put a traumatized eight year old in. Reed had spent four years in the group home, finally managing to find a temporary home. Within three months, he had managed to get in trouble with the police twice both for vandalism and shoplifting. Soon after he landed himself back within the home, jumping from foster home to foster home. As the number of homes visited increased, the amount of Reed got into did as well. He wasn’t meant to live such a life and it was obviously being proven.
His temperament failed to improve and he was on thin ice, very few even thinking of adopting the troublesome boy. A single woman in her late fifties had dared to bring him into her home, giving him no sympathy no sympathy that he had had in his previous homes. Instead, she gave him the free run he needed in order to function properly. Alice had been just as bitter and stubborn as Reed himself was and therefore the two learned to get along fairly well; Alice providing for Reed’s needs as he provided a bit of company as well as good behavior.
Yet again, Reed was faced with losing someone as he entered his freshman year. He had been in the process of getting gigs together for bands and touring into Wisconsin when he received a phone call. Alice had suffered from a heart attack and died in her sleep. Though Reed had no real relations with the woman, she had dared to take him in and it felt as though he lost his mother yet again.
Reed had returned to Manistee one last time to gather what was left of his possessions when he ran across his father. Other than the few pictures he had seen, Reed hadn’t a clue what his father’s appearance was. In attempts to get away from the crazy town, he ran across a news article, offering a reward for the same man that Reed had seen in town. Immediately the police were called and Reed's father was caught, soon after sentenced for four murders.

personality Reed is fairly well known between people and it what you would call a social butterfly. Though he doesn’t exactly take to people who aren’t like him, he can’t help but make a bit of an effort to meet new people. He’s generally a casual type person and is easy to get along with if you know how to come off the right way with him.
With Reed’s easy going personality, no one would ever expect what a goofball he is in reality. After he’s warmed up a bit or around his closet friends, Reed is known to get people laughing. People expect it from him merely because he’s so well for it. He’s named himself as a dork due to the fact he’s always off doing something wacky; his favorite including trying on bras at Victoria’s Secret with a few friends. Generally he’s pretty genial around girls, attempting to get on their best side whether or not he has feelings towards them. He attempts to get girls laughing the most and often succeeds.
This leads to the next point. Reed is a bit of a manwhore at that. He can’t help but find spending a night away from home or a night in bed with a girl enjoyable; even if its only a one night deal. He’s got a bit of reputation for this but he still knows how to remain faithful to a girl when he finds himself with a girlfriend, which usually doesn’t prove to be too often.
Though hes not a redhead, Reed has a rather nasty temper. He doesn’t take easy to being hassled and if his friends are being badgered, he gets on the case right away. he's been known to both start and end fights resulting in the arrival of the police and a nasty fine. His aggression is usually directed towards punks who tend to taunt him and its worse when he’s drunk.
Even though Reed clicks pretty easily with people, he does have the habit of being a bit of jackass. He’s rather cocky when it comes to sports and happens to be one of those guys who think they are the best on the team. He likes to play rather crude jokes upon people and doesn’t generally care what the outcome of the situation is as long as he’s having a good time.
For the most part, Reed plays things off like absolutely nothing is wrong in his life. Nearly every night, Reed finds himself in the presence of alcohol which usually results in a wasted boy. Though its merely a fun way to screw around, he knows his binge drinking is becoming an increasing problem and its destroying the person he is. A vast majority of the time, Reed won’t come home alone but rather in the presence of a feminine figure. His actions have landed him a reputation that he most often proudly faces up to though when trying to ask out a girl he really favors, it proves difficulty. Perhaps one of Reed’s biggest flaws is that he’s too judgmental of the people around him which, too, earns him a bad reputation. He has a problem with emos, punks, and nerds but generally only because he’s a stereotypical jock and not because he actually dislikes them for some aspect of their personality. Lastly, the problem Reed finds the worst with himself is that he chooses to use his past as an excuse for all of his other problems. Though he’s had a horrible past, its Reed himself who can actually change his future.

portrayed by? adam brody eyes brown hair dark brown height 6'0 style Reed 's got the money to prove what he’s after and generally does with his fancy clothing. Reed is well noted for his clothing style. He does enjoy clothes from Hollister and Abercrombie though he’ll certainly go for comfort before style. He’s often wearing a pair, a lightweight jacket, and some sort of tennis shoe. These days, it appears his favorite clothing is a t-shirt which is suitable for any type of atmosphere or occasion. It’s known to everyone that Reed doesn’t go anywhere without his Michigan hockey hat. When it comes to the night life, Reed is found in the most expensive clothes his money can buy merely for the sake of showing off what he’s got.
{ and I'm telling you why
your name rhiley age eighteen years of roleplay 4 or 5 code sentence honestly, i read the rules and it said nothing about a code sentance. :l other nothing? sample post {from bitter sweet heat} “YOURE FUCKING WORTHLESS.” The words stung more then anyone acknowledged, though they did sound painful to any regular ear. The football coach, Greg Robson, stood menacingly over the cowering silhouette of a boy, his already angry features twisted and contorted into something even uglier then before. His loud, booming voice seemed to echo throughout the field, and even the defensive linemen bowed their heads and mentally covered their ears. The sun beated down on the scene, its rays so bright it seemed as if they nearly touched the boys, still armored up as if the game was still on. As if they were still running, catching and tackling with the best of ‘em. Unfortunately though, the game was over now, and for the first time in most of their football careers, they had lost. Horribly. It wasn’t even an easy lose, either. They went down with the biggest fights of their lives, and the boys were littered with bruises and deep cuts that would eventually turn to scars to remind them of the brutal war they had just taken part in. It hadn’t even been about the game. They had wanted so badly to win.
Coach Robson’s large brown eyes shrunk to slits and he glared upon the tired, broken body of his star quarterback, Reed Thomson. Usually Reed didn’t need punishment. He lived for football, and had perfect lines, passes and plays almost all the time. However, that day something had gone horribly wrong for Reed. The game had started out alright, as usual. Maddison had been easily winning by a few points thanks to clever plays by Reed, and all the boys were feeling pretty good about themselves. However, about halfway through the game it was as if Reed cracked. His mindset had seemingly changed from playing a fun game, to a bloody one, and that was where it all started. With that one tackle he made upon the opposite team’s quarterback, that one punch thrown that knocked out the kids tooth, it was over for Maddison. They all became obsorbed in whatever fight they were getting into, and the other team easily passed up the ball to score fool’s points. And it was all because of Reed. But hey, it wasn’t his fault he couldn’t handle a sore loser.
With one last smack to Reed’s helmet, the coach allowed him to take the walk of shame back across the field while the students that usually cheered him on while he played regularly in his element boo’d at him. With his head hung so low his chin nearly touched his chest, His heart pounded with anger and sorrow, wishing he hadn’t been so immature. If only he had waited until after the game to give that idiot what he deserved. If only he’d ignored him. He’d cost his team a victory, and a spot in the Quasa finals, one of their biggest accomplishments yet. They had never lost, and now had to suffer complete and utter humiliation thanks to him. From under his gold and green helmet, he peeked out at the bleachers of booing fans once more before the tears fell, and he trotted off into the gym. He was as ashamed as they were.
As he smashed through the doors of the gym, tears flying, Reed barely noticed the blonde strewn across the center of the gym floor. Usually the sighting of a girl would please him greatly, but today just wasn’t his day. She seemed familiar, like a good friend of his, but he couldn’t really see through the blinding blur of tears that continued to release themselves. It had been years and years since he’d cried, but then again, it had been years and years since he’d been yelled at by a coach as well. He felt as though everyone hated him, which was not a good feeling he had discovered. Sure, he could always win them back at the next game, but he still couldn’t believe the feeling that tinged his heart whenever he thought about the look on his coach’s face. He couldn’t bear it. He just couldn’t.
