{ comes home on call, isn't that peace,
history Darian and Abigail met at a college party and hit it off without any doubt. The two had a mutual friend, the reason for their introduction. They were both wild children, always going home with a different person. It wasn’t a surprise to anyone when they exchanged numbers before the close of the event. They dated on and off during the rest of their college years, forming a love hate relationship. So it was actually a big surprise when the two decided to get married. No one thought that they’d last; many of their friends even made time to make a few beats on the eternal binding. Darian and Abigail were twice as driven with their friend’s lack of support, hoping to prove them all wrong.
However, their plans took an unexpected term when they discovered there was going to be an addition to their arrangement. The two never told any of their friends that the pregnancy was a mistake, which made them all the more right in their decision to unite. The first McCain child was brought into the world months later, Kyle Alec.
Shane was born in a London hospital years later. Abigail was originally confirmed to have twins, two healthy babies, one girl and one boy, weeks before she went into labor. Sometime between then and the actual birth, there was a problem with the baby’s positioning in her stomach. The labor was extraordinarily difficult and painful but eventually both children were brought into the world. Although two little bodies had come from hers, only one was breathing and alive. The original names she had come up with were both given to the living child, Shane Hayden.
After their terrible loss, Darian and Abigail decided to have yet another child, the last. Their decision was so late in life that their first two children had already begun making their way through their education. Zach Cameron was welcomed into the world with open arms from every member of the McCain family. Shane and Kyle were dying to have another sibling.
Shane went to a public school in London before her parents found out about Hoffman. She never really seemed to fit in the atmosphere; her passion for art struck the teachers as odd. Her studies lacked in letter grade but it was only because Shane was bored with the curriculum. Nothing seemed right and her parents soon understood. They researched for awhile until they came across the Academy. Shane was more than willing to venture off to the boarding school, desperate to actually start her life.
Since day one at Hoffman, Shane has been accepted by everyone she’s met, minus a very few. She immediately clicked with two older students, Gabriel Mosely and Joseph Posen. The two have been her best friends, the former begin even more. Shane started dating Gabriel not too long after their introduction; the most satisfied she had ever been in fact. As the years have gone on, things have come to her attention that never struck her before.
parents Darian, an architect, and Abigail McCain, a chef, are the parents of Shane and her siblings. siblings Shane has an older brother, Kyle, who is attending Rice as a Junior and a younger brother, Zach Cameron, who is still stuck in a private school somewhere close to home. The three all have a very close bond, even with the distance between them.
{ am I losin' way too much
personality STUBBORN –adjective; unreasonably obstinate; obstinately unmoving
The worst quality that Shane possesses is her stubborn nature. The aspect became noticeable as a child when her parents would advise her to do a simple task but she’d refuse, later to perform the action her own way. The characteristic has faded in and out of her life but has know become very visible in the past months. Shane’s relationship with Gabriel was great at first, there’s no denying. She was envied by a handful of girls and Gabriel never gave them the once over because he had what he wanted, what he needed. But things got real and his true personality began to emerge. His physical nature got the best of him when he was angry and Shane was left hurt and fearful. However, Shane refuses to let him go, hoping that he could control himself due to his love for her.
PENSIVE –adjective; dreamily or wistfully thoughtful:
If Shane ever falls from a conversation, she’s probably thinking. Some people see thinking as a negative action but it’s something that she embraces. The imaginary world that she can create in her head is sometimes more enjoyable than reality. Her inventive mind is without a doubt brought on by her creative nature. The trait can come off as rude and even annoying when the individual isn’t knowledgeable about her tendency.
PASSIONATE –adjective; expressing, showing, or marked by intense or strong feeling; emotional There’s nothing more important in Shane’s life than her art, Gabriel, and her friends. Although her form of art only deals with one medium, Shane finds multiple ways to express her ideas. Her drive and pure love add more to her pieces than any amount of jewel or plastic. The one thing she loves just as much as her gift are the people in her life. She never lets them forget what they mean to her. Shane’s love runs so strong that it’s impossible for anyone to miss. Whether it’s physically or mentally, Shane isn’t afraid to show her emotions.
SOCIABLE –adjective; inclined to associate with or be in the company of others Before transferring to Hoffman Academy, Shane was considered a lesser part of the educational community. She had a tendency to keep to herself, not necessarily in a corner. The occasionally greeting and awkward conversation was never avoided but other than that, distancing herself was the key. It wasn’t hard because the art room was usually open to all admiring guests. After transferring to Hoffman, a complete role reversal occurred. Shane began connecting with everyone she met, rarely meeting someone she disliked. There never seemed to be a moment of silence between anyone she encountered at the Academy. Everyone’s common interests, occasionally not even in pure art itself, makes it impossible to hide in corners.
PERSISTENT –adjective; Refusing to give up or let go; persevering obstinately Shane is extremely dedicated to her passion, the reason she’s even attending Hoffman Academy in the first place. Unlike some of the other inhabitants, Shane was accepted into the academy due to her actual skill rather than on behave of her family’s wealth. Since the beginning of her time, the teenager had been engrossed in the art of clay. Her hands were always rough with dry, flaking mud that she had scooped up during afternoon recess and she would skip lunch to only be found in the art room. The principle and even some of her teachers were concerned but her parents knew that it was a sign of her gifted ability. Her art means more than the world to her because it’s her way of expression.

{ my darling you look lovely
portrayed by? Becky Lou Filip eyes Blue hair Dark brunette height 5’4 style Shane is extremely independent and unique. Not in the way that everyone is unique because that’s not much difference there. She’s not afraid to show off her figure with a dress in the summer or curl up with a good pair of uggs in the winter. However, the majority of Shane’s look is filled with vintage wear. She’s just as creatively open with her clothing as she is with her art work. Brands don’t mean much in her eyes because she doesn’t believe it should make or break a person.
{ and I'm telling you why
your name jordyn age 17 years of roleplay code sentence if you like pina coldas and getting caught in the rain. other cheers to bitter sweet buddies! (: sample post from bitter sweet-
Braden rolled his eyes as Savannah made a ridiculous expression on her face after he spilled his guts about his piloting dreams. He felt like a little kid all over again when people would adore him because children were so naïve. Braden’s wild aspirations as a child were exactly what he was, childish. Even if he still wanted to become a pilot it would never work; it would get extraordinarily old traveling from place to place with strangers. The results were beautiful: Paris, Tokyo, Ireland, no doubt about it. But life would never slow down, never long enough to take a breath. Oh stop it, you’re making me blush, he joked, swatting his hand in front of him as if to bat off all her compliments. Savannah could dish out compliments as much as she received them when she wanted to. On the other hand, the next statement she said was in all seriousness, especially to Braden because he felt the exact same way. Being with all his friends in Miami, mostly Savannah, exceeded flying people to their loved ones day after day. Sure Miami was a little on the hot side for him, considering he had grown up in the North but it was better than nothing. He batted his eyelashes playfully, playing along with Savannah’s shock. After being on a plane every month or so a coloring book lost it’s entertainment factor quickly. He resorted to the window and then even the clear skies bored him. Eventually he had become pretty acquainted with the pilots and spent his time in the cockpit where all the action really went down. They didn’t mind explaining the routes and really the whole works. His eyes lightened up when Savannah remembered the airline wings; she even had a few nasty opinions about their discontinuing.
He jumped in his seat, an imaginary light bulb in his head now filled with electricity. He placed his index finger against her lips in an attempt to cease her laughter. With some effort he slithered off his bed and headed toward the desk on the other side of the room. He reached out to open the deepest drawer which revealed a bright red box. Opening the lid, he dug through the depths of the box before emerging with something tucked safely in his hand. With his hand closed in a fist he closed the drawer with his hip. His feet led him back to his bed and he crawled into position next to Savannah. Close your eyes, he said, very cliché, and don’t flinch. He opened his hand, a tiny pair of familiar golden wings surfacing. Braden lifted up the bottom of her shirt and slid his left hand up along the material. He stopped a little above her chest, his hand pushing her shirt as far away from her skin as possible. With his right hand he stabbed the pin through one side of her shirt before threading it out the other. He removed his left hand from the inside of her shirt and finished fastening the pin into place. Without telling Savannah that she could open her eyes, Braden sat back to admire the new jewel.
All Braden could do was laugh when Savannah bluntly blurted out the issue with his room. When something was on her mind she had no problem bringing it out into the open. The topic was just so humorous because Christmas presents were generally meant to be a surprise. Not that Braden was complaining because he figured that was the exact touch the room needed to define itself from the others. She even managed to spit out some of her sarcasm, claiming she would just about cover his room up in pictures of her. Nevertheless, Braden wouldn’t have objected. His eyebrow jolted upward as Savannah brought Hugh Hefner’s girls into the picture. He was most certain she was messing with his mind, knowing that he wouldn’t have taken her seriously. It was pretty impossible for someone to not be aware of how much Savannah valued her body, especially with her on and off relationship with Kaspar. Nothing was sacred in the halls of John Maddison because word traveled fast than the speed of light. He shook his head at her, a grin on his face as he slightly nudged her, hoping to throw her off balance.
The second Savannah started to add to their conversation, Braden knew she was being sincere. He hadn’t doubted her honesty but he wasn’t sure if it would turn into hostility. There was just no way to tell how some girls would twist and turn around words to the point where they weren’t even the words that came out of your mouth in the first place. It had to do with hormones or something equally annoying that only affected the feminine species. He listened closely, giving her the full attention that she gave him moments ago. She was baring all, not attempting to sugarcoat anything. She openly admitted her feelings for them both, Kaspar and himself. There was even an extra addition to the mix; Savannah mentioned being alone. His hand found it’s way to her, traveling down her side in the most appropriate way. It wasn’t as if he was scared to touch her, they had been almost as intimate as two people could be without going all the way, but the timing wasn’t right. Braden was a guy just like any other guy down the street but he knew what was right and when it was right. And I’m glad you’re here, he said in all seriousness. He hadn’t gotten off of his ass to get online if he didn’t think something positive would have been the outcome. But the next thing that came out of her mouth was so true that it completely threw him off. It's not about following your heart and it's not about keeping your promises. It's about security, Braden practically whispered, not sure if it was directed to the girl in his arms or the soft sheets of his bed. His hands quickly shot off her waist and darted to cover his mouth; he couldn’t believe the words that had escaped his lips. Sure he had seen the movie a handful of times but he didn’t believe he had actually retained something from it, especially a precise quote. Most people had a photogenic memory but he let his ears do all the work. Although he did remember the part in the movie like it was on the screen at that very moment. The main characters were having an intense conversation about where they stood, surprising similar to the situation at hand. Was it possible that Savannah was living her life by the rules of The Notebook? The boy, Braden couldn’t remember his name, was trying to convince the girl to stay with him, no matter what everyone else wanted. Because the truth was that no matter what happened someone would end up getting the short end of the stick. However, there were no promises involved and hell, he was pretty sure he hadn’t succeeded into Savannah’s heart. But the words were now free in the air and there was no way to take them back, even if he tried to scoop them up with his hands. All he could do was laugh and he did. Braden was laughing so hard that he could feel the tears forming in the corners of his deep, brown eyes. Look what you do to me, he spit out between laughing fits before falling backward, making sure to bring Savannah down with him. His eyes never strayed from hers as they laid in place, her on top of him. If you tell anyone that I said that, you’ll never find your precious movie again, Braden threatened with a smile, the tone of the conversation taking a completely one eighty degree turn.
