“It’s about time I found someone that gets me inside and out. Since Rowan and I are both lovers of the clay we met in the art house; surprise surprise. I was working on some project that I can’t even remember because I’m pretty sure I chunked it, when he walked into the occupied room. He was turning to leave but I told him I could use the company. He seemed kind of quiet at first but it didn’t take him long to realize that I was no harm. We pretty much talked the whole time about the intensity behind our passions which involved lots of smiles and laughter. Since he's so young I've kind of have this feeling that I need to protect him. I have all these close guy friends that protect me in my time of need but I'm getting tired of it. I want to be someone hero and maybe Rowan will understand how much he means to me. Hoffman can be a corrupt world and I don't want him getting forced into anything he's not comfortable with. I know he can take care of himself but sometimes it's nice to have a little back up.

At first I got this fluttery feeling in my stomach that I didn’t understand. I love Gabe and I know it but Rowan’s so completely different. However, I’ve learned to kick myself when the butterflies start to tickle because I know it’s only a inkling of a crush and it could never happen. I’m pretty satisfied with our friendship though; I’ve got someone to connect with, especially when I’m stuck in the mode.”

"I can still remember the first time I met Rowan, and it was probably the luckiest day of my life. I had just pushed some random kid into the wall for yelling something rude at me, and I turned around just in time to smack into my future best friend.
