[ couldn't really think of a title btw if you want to rp elsewhere, send me a pm! ]
It was cold. That was pretty much the only way to put it. Plumes of warm breath leaked from Dalia's lips, contrasting brilliantly against the cold fall air. The sun poked through the gray clouds, its luke warm rays reflecting off of Dalia's sparkling sky blue eyes. She pulls her jacket tighter around herself, regretting buying it in the size she had. She knew she should have gone for the black; it had actually been in stock in her size.
Jasper, her white german shepherd, stood faithfully by her side, watching his master carefully. Even as people walked by he didn't once head towards them, staying firmly placed by Dalia's side.
Dalia wasn't quite sure what to do with herself. Head into the black abyss that was the school, or stick around out here and see what happens. Maybe someone would bump into her, maybe someone would stop to introduce themselves. Or maybe she would end up standing out here, looking like a complete idiot.

Colton moved out into the crisp air, his body protected by the cool air by a teeshirt and hoodie overtop. The hood was drawn three quarters over his head, letting his blonde hair show from the sides and top.
The eighteen year old shoved his hands in his pockets and made his way to the courtyard, thinking of sitting and writing to home or working on a piece of music. The drumsticks poked out of his back pocket as he walked. His blue eyes were cast to the leaf ridden ground, taking in the orange, yellow, red and brown colours that they provided. Fall was beautiful but he still itched for spring.
Colton glanced up and saw someone standing by themselves and thought about walking over and saying hello. That was until he came upon the dog; dogs were awesome pets, if you owned one. If not, they were unpredictable and well, dangerous. All the scenarios flashed through his mind as he mechanically walked forwards, closing the gap between the two with each stride.
A burst of wind knocked his hood back a little but it managed to stay on, wisps of his blonde hair flashing across his face. He'd decided to talk to her. The worst thing that could happen was that her dog would bite him or something; no biggie.. pff. Yeah.. right.
Once he was close enough for her to hear him, he spoke; his Australian accent slicing the wind chilled air.
Hey.. I'm Colton. Is your dog the friendly type?
He asked, now shifting his gaze from her to her dog a bit wearily. Now he wished he wasn't so close; the dog could easily jump and attack him.

Jasper's tail was wagging wildly, tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth. He was half sitting, half standing alongside his master, eager to move forward and greet the new comer. "No, Jas." She hisses at him, eyes falling as if to hold him in his place, although he didn't seem to hear.
As the boy approached, Dalia smiles. She didn't recognize him, but then again she was new here and would probably have reason to worry if she didn't recognize someone. Jasper was losing his patience, but remained where he was. As he spoke to her, Dalia was moderatly surprised and had to take a moment to register what he had said. First off was his accent - she always melted for Australian and English accents.
"Yes, he's very friendly."
By now Jasper's tail was going a hundred miles an hour, and he could no longer contain himself. Jumping forward he sniffs the boys hand, then his leg.
"Jasp, heal."
Dalia calls, and is if beckoned by a spell he returns to her side, now satisfied.
"Nice to meet you, Colton. My name is Dalia."

Colton watched a bit carefully as he saw the dog although his body relaxed a little as the tail was wagging. The dog could be happy to see someone which makes it friendly or it could be excited about ripping his face off. Wow.. was he really that paranoid about dogs? Relax. Stop being an idiot. His mind scolded him as he let his thoughts run away with him again. This happened fairly often; he overthought things that didn't need to be and would never think twice about the issues that actually needed to be thought about.
Finally letting his guard down once he heard that the dog, named Jasp apparently, was friendly, he kneeled down stroking the canine and letting him sniff and get associated with the new human. Standing again when the dog was beckoned back, he then gave a smile.
Nice to meet you Dalia. Mind if I join you on your walk? I have nothing else to do.
Colton offered friendily although wouldn't mind if she declined. He let his blonde locks fall into his eyes and was going to push them from his vision before the wind did it for him. He must look a bit intimidating, in a black hoodie with the hood up, green bandana on his blonde hair and piercing aquamarine eyes that seemed to see right through into the soul when they gazed into your eyes. Most people were intimidated by Colton; maybe it was because of his kind of attractiveness that wasn't like anyone else or his foreign accent. Maybe it was his stature and how he said things the way they were instead of beating around the bush like everyone else. He didn't know but then again, Colton wasn't the one to stay up all night thinking of ways to change to please the world. In his opinion, you can take him the way he was or leave him the hell alone. One or the other; a simple answer to a simple question.
