"Dalia and I met, in the practice hall one night when I thought I was alone, because most of the time I am. Who else comes to the practice hall on a Friday night when everyone else is out partying. To me it is the best time to practice. However Dalia walked in as I was blaring out some Jimi Hendrix and the rain didn't let up. I didn't want to leave because I knew that I would feel bad if I just left her in the practice hall alone till the rain let up. So I stayed, even though I don't like to talk at all, she managed to squeeze a few stories out of me, how long I'd been at Hoffman and stuff like that, the basics. Then the day after I mentioned it to Jae that I had met her, and I knew that she rang a bell. Jae is like totally in love with her, I think. He keeps mentioning her to me, and I just shrug it off. What do high school guys know about love? Not enough. Anyway, that makes her off limits to me although I'm not sure if that is official or unofficial. I'm so very confused about the whole relationship thing, it's like mixed feelings around her these days, is she just playing Jae or is there something more. I knew I should have payed closer attention to all the stuff he was telling me."

Dal in the office one stupid Wednesday morning. It was after one of those sessions where the headmaster threatens to kick me out and then my dad calls and promises to I dunno sleep with the music theory teacher to let me stay at Hoff. You know the usual, well she was ok when she ran into me but I just knew that we weren't gonig to be friends, call it a sixth sense of sorts. Anyway since then she hasn't given me the time of day probably because she figured heard that rumor that I did two girls with one condom or some other bullshit that's been floating around these days. "So, Dalia and I met at a bar one night after I'd played a couple sets with the house band. By the time we got to talkin' I'd had a couple beers and was starting on the first of many shots. "I remember the first class I had with Dalia. It was my first class at this school, to be exact. I was sitting in the back of the classroom, brooding over being the fact that I had been transfered here, hating life. Then, to make matters worse in came Dalia and quite frankly, she was the most unappealing person to me. So annoying. That was until I got paired with her in that class, for a project. "Dalia. Dalia Fable. She's a sweetheart. I knew her when I lived back with my devil of a family. Though, it's not like I was allowed to talk to her much. I mean... I wasn't exactly allowed to have friends. Only Georgia was. Anyways, when I ran away I stayed with Dalia for a month or so then we both headed to off to here, meaning Hoffman Academy. I'm glad I knew Dalia. I'm still greatful to know her. She's the one person that helped me escape my family and past. She did that for me so I shaved my head for her.
